And I'm still here in case anybody was wondering, there is just nothing to say except that surely someday this nightmare will end, and I will still be a Vol one way or the other.
His point is that coaches all talk about how bad our boosters are with not pulling in the same direction and no one wants the job because of that.
Would Satterfield at Louisville take the job?Satterfield @ Appy State would take this job in a heartbeat. Dude would coach circles around Pruitt (Not that that is saying much). There's plenty of HC's out there who would be 3-1 record for us right now. This whole "no one wants to coach here" narrative is lazy AF to me.

“The coaches did great vs BYU” LOL we played down to a damn Mountain West team and scored 16 in regulation.NOFREAKINBODY...this is not 2017...this is now..and the coaches did a great job with BYU. That loss was not on them. It was squarely on JG and AT. They isht the bed against GS by using it as scrimmage game while GS actually came to play ball. Play them again and we run them by 45, so that game literally tells you nothing other than a bad learning experience.
WHO DO YOU GOT RIGHT NOW?
You know the answer.
Chaney didnt get dumb over night.
You my fried are within reason. We have to allow Pruitt to bring in all his guys. So all we have to do is beWondering what the hell is going on? Is it the coaches? Is it the players? Combination of both? Not sure, not there day in and day out. All I can truly judge is the product on Saturdays. As such, I do see potential greatness and unbridled talent in:
To'o To'o, Gray, and Crouch
Also see potential with several others
While technically this is CJP's second recruiting class, in all reality, it is his first class where more time and attention were afforded to really assess "his type of guys". Because of this, I want to see more. I am intrigued to see what a full team of To'o To'os, Grays, Crouches, etc at the respective positions will look like. Maybe Bailey will be the answer at QB, maybe he won't, but if he can live up to his role like some of the other freshmen have, then we might have something special brewing. Only time will tell.
Pruitt until it's not...GO VOLS!
I’m not advocating for anyone. I just don’t see a quick fix here. And to answer your question absolutely not.Does anyone have a recent example where a coach took over a program, had 2 historically bad seasons with historically bad losses, but eventually turned it around and became a championship level coach?
That's not a rhetorical question, I'm genuinely curious if there is precedent for giving a coach 4 or 5 years even if the first 2 or 3 are horrendous.
Also, isn't it crazy how similar arky and Tennessee have been these last 7 years or so? They're going through the exact same thing we are right now.
We held on to butch for 5 years for that very reason. Was that good for us?
Bobo for hc“The coaches did great vs BYU” LOL we played down to a damn Mountain West team and scored 16 in regulation.
There’s no way to know who would “take” a job, but I feel pretty comfortable saying if you put Dave Doeren, Mike Leach or hell, even Mel Tucker and their staffs in place last January, they find a way to beat mighty BYU and Goliath Georgia State.

Next big up and comer hot coaching name....ya'll heard it here first
Eliah Drinkwitz
Dude's gonna be on a lotta list at the end of this season or next.
Same. I see all the arguments for keeping him and for firing him tomorrow. There is no positive outcome imo. We are doomed for several more years either way. People are crazy if they think recruits are going to come to a program that loses to byu and GA St and gets obliterated by most everyone else. They're also crazy if they think proven coaches will come to our dumpster fire of a program.I’m not advocating for anyone. I just see a quick fix here. And to answer your question absolutely not.
I have no clue how to fix this
