As for jg or Maurer...I honestly don't care. Maurer had the right attitude I think.. Seems to have the personality for being a qb... Doesn't have the ability yet.

JG.... What else needs to be said.

Split reps. If one gets hot... Maybe stick with em for a Game.

I'm pretty meh on the whole QB deal right now regardless.

Pure garbage time. Regardless. even if their first string was in, it's still freaking Georgia State. None of their first string would start for any SEC team.

And watching 18 Saturday he’s clearly also a INT waiting to happen.

I don’t get how posters fault JG got his first pick but don’t see that 18 saw most of his passes touch a florida players hands

Shrout has a quick release and can make all the throws-- just not always to the right team. But all three guys throw INTs, and Shrout has the fewest game reps. Too bad he didn't get some seasoning last year to see if he could work through his pick problem. Maurer adds mobility, so maybe they'll work some things up for him. Why rule out anybody out at this point? Let's see what they've got.

Maurer has a competitive edge that shows just in how he carries himself abd people gravitate towards that. JG doesn't.

Neither are consistent enough to win a bunch of games at this level. For Maurer I'd add a "yet" to the end of that statement.

Your biggest mistake is thinking I enjoy any of this. For years I’ve been desperate for this program to show some sign of life. If I didn’t care I wouldn’t be here. I’m just surprised at how easily reality is constantly overlooked or explained away.

I don't think you enjoy the losing. I do think you enjoy making fun of people who don't agree with you. We all want to win. We just don't agree how to go about it.
