I can't confirm. It's a tweet that's buried in a conversation with many people. In another words, it would be easier to track if a person knew where the original post came from. This appears to be a lengthy conversation in a thread. Tried to help, sorry, not able to. GBO!I don't have Twitter but it has been mentioned on a couple of Radio shows this morning that players are going through and liking tweets about benching JG. Anyone with twitter that can confirm? Darel Middleton was one of the names brought up and I see his but what about other players?

What happens if the players tell Pruitt if you're rolling with JG you're rolling without us
You know things could get better when Pruitt sits JG...Fans know what they see on the field..
Have to go with the future now...
When you keep trying to make something work that won't the fans know it...the players know it...The coach has to stop it..
When the QB of the offense can't move the ball or score the WHOLE team then begins to get the blame that may be what this is about...
I agree with you, Maurer is not better. But he may develop more quickly with actual "game time." The team for sure looked more energized with him in the game. JG doesn't seem to inspire people around him. JMOMaurer is in no way a better QB than JG. It will be seen eventually in a full game. then and only then will the rest of you know what I know now that this team is dead-man-walking.
I swear when JG re-entered the game the Oline looked less determined. On third down it appeared they choose not to block. We use to call that a look out block. Secondly does anyone see the other players trying to pick JG up on the sidelines?
How did we go from a tweet to CJP losing the team? Good Lord!!
Guess we'll just have to disagree. When BM entered the game things looked quicker with better decisions/ smoother. Moving down hill instead of passes behind the line of scrimmage. We saw the same thing last year when Chryst entered the game. Things were clicking. The whole team looked more energized, I thought

Personally, JG had won me over a bit last year because of his toughness, before that I was not fond of the way he acted during the Tech game and it seems that JG resurfaced. He looks lost, he’s late on everything he throws and he couldn’t hit Neyland Stadium with a truck if he wanted to. It’s telling how guys look and act with him in the game and on the sidelines.I swear when JG re-entered the game the Oline looked less determined. On third down it appeared they choose not to block. I sincerely think there's been a disconnect between JG and the otgers since day one.I swear when JG re-entered the game the Oline looked less determined. of course not, he's a true freshman that has been here since fall that can only get better. You cant compare that with a redshirt junior who has started for 3 years and continues to get worse.Maurer is in no way a better QB than JG. It will be seen eventually in a full game. then and only then will the rest of you know what I know now that this team is dead-man-walking.
I personally don't care because I believe as soon as a top-shelf QB lands on campus all these jokers will pound sand. with that said, I hate the idea of getting BM injured when it really doesnt matter this season. this team is gonna lose big time and no sense in getting your future backup QB hurt.
I am however in favor of letting BM start and completely play one game. But probably after this gauntlet of games. I feel like whatever QB is out there for the UGA or Bama game will suffer a career ending injury given our inept OL. I would rather that not be BM just in case he does develop.

The other tough thing with Maurer is "are we going to burn his redshirt in what will obviously be his worst season"? I'm not normally a fan, but our options are rather limited.
I think we try out Shrout for Georgia. See what he gives us. Then re-assess for Miss State. If Maurer looks like the best option, let's go with him, but he's going to have a rough start.
As far as O-line, feel like it's improved enough so that the QB isn't getting murdered every game. Still far from elite, but not anything like last season.
