Don’t know why we didn’t bring more pressure. Trask had absolutely no feel for backside pressure. We were this close to getting strip sacks multiple times.

I hate all the zone we’re playing now. It hurts the secondary players he recruited that played well last year.
We blitzed....a lot.

If a bunch of guys jump ship I assume we are still held to the 25 limit. But what about transfers/jucos and what not? Is there any way we can backfill to keep the 85 limit?

Harsin is currently under contract through Jan. 10, 2023, with a salary that pays his $1.55 million this year and rises to $1.855 million in 2022. Originally signed in 2017, Harsin’s contract included no buyout. He signed an extension on Oct. 18 of last year that included a buyout, but only a slight one. So, if a Power 5 heavyweight sets its eyes on Harsin, they could easily double his salary and pay only $350,000 to get him out of his contract.

What's Bryan Harsin's contract situation and buyout at Boise State - FootballScoop

Tie to Fulmer? Steve Caldwell

Caldwell was an assistant under Fulmer for 14 years and AHC under Harsin for 4.

Caldwell praises Boise State, says departure was a "family decision" | Blue Turf Sports | idahopress.com

Yea but still not as much as we should’ve. Especially that first drive and early in 3rd. Every time we dropped back bad shi* happened.

We also got to quit showing our blitzes so early. There was a time late in the 3rd i think Mullen RPO alerted or screened on like 3 straight heavy blitzes.

Any rule that encourages kids to leave in the middle of semester isnt good for kids , teams or their academics

Now if you want to say they should be able to transfer and play immediately after seasons I can agree with you on that
It doesn’t. That’s a slant you came up with as you sat alone in a dark room...what we call daily activity.

How does it hurt the kids more than the administration?
Thats a silly question. When we give our recruiting pitch do you think they tell the kid "imagine playing in front of a few thousand fans, some of which stand up and clap during Rocky Top". No they dont. Thats why we have shirts with the number 102,455 printed on them.

Which is also why knucklehead fans shouldn't tweet recruits and players.

Just watch the transfer portal over the next few days and see if I'm right.

All those take an initial counter in a class.

Just stop. You know Darn well the rule encourages kids to leave 1/3 of the way thru a season.

If you say you don’t just go familiarize yourself with the guy playing Qb at Mizzu right now

No thanks. He wasn’t good at Florida and i think Boise state is one of those jobs like Houston or UCF where it seems like everyone wins there.
He was at Texas. Kind of mixed bag there because it was near the end of Mack Brown’s term and he was splitting duties with Major Applewhite I think.

Successful head coach - has proven it with his own players. Runs a modern offense - seems to prioritize good QB play and they produce RBs like crazy.

I like the guy a lot.
