OUTSCORED ONE HUNDRED POINTS.

This is the combined score of our last 5 games. Missouri, Vanderbilt, Georgia State, BYU, and Florida

It's pretty clear to me now. Butch Jones, Derek Dooley, and Lane Kiffin would not be 0-5 with the resources Pruitt has. We are not improving. Players are about to start lining up to transfer. Recruiting is dead. He simply has to go.
Deer Lord I’m sick

Bingo

I think it was clear Calloway should have stopped the route at the 1st down marker. The safety was over the top and clearly he wasn’t going to be open continuing to run down the field
The corner sit on it because JG never took his eyes off where he thought Callaway was supposed to go.

Starring down the route should have told him to abort. Not throw it to the guy in blue.

He doesnt have basic QB instincts.

Get the butch jones stank totally out of Knoxville. It's cheaper and easier to replace disgruntled players than it is to fire/hire new coaches. I really don't want to be in another coaching search after this season. We've got to get some stability at UT (at least 4 years worth) or this misery will never end. Butch Jones was ready to leave K-town after the loss to vandy in year 4 and UT should have let him.

I'm not going to grade him as having a good quarter, even considering JJ should have caught that ball. Mediocre is what he deserves for his best quarter of the game.

One thing I think we can all
Agree on.

The first quarter was a hell of a lot better than the 2nd where he

1) took a delay penalty
2) threw a bad pick
3) missed a wide open TD throw
4) only had one good play(by the way that was a hell of a throw on 3rd and long. That was legit throw)

Just an AWFUL second quarter

When JJ, Calloway, DTaylor, Bituli, Trey..etc are on NFL rosters will you still say they suck?
3 of those 5 have played well, so.... JG has missed a wide open Calloway multiple times. As for Taylor. He had 2 games last year where he made plays. Other than that, what has he shown during his career for us to blame Pruitt for his lack of production?

He commands double teams. There’s more to Taylor than just stats. When teams choose not to double him, he can terrorize them.

My take on JG.

1) he’s clearly a front runner.

2) he played what I thought was his best quarter as a vol in the 1st Qt yesterday. He was sharp. He was in a rhythm and made plays. Without a questionable late hit and JJ dropping the TD we easily could have scored 14pts that opening quarter. Chaney had a good gameplan ready and JG was ready to play.

3) what happened after the second INT proves JG is a front runner. I don’t even think it was his fault but he clearly couldn’t handle the mistake and he clearly sucked after that.
Did you mistaken watch a the Auburn game from last year instead of the UF game haha?

If you have access to this I’d like to know the % of plays he drops into coverage. Imo whatever that % is its too high. We must have him rushing the passer as much as possible
