You've heard of the Peter Principle...right?
What Is the Peter Principle?
The Peter Principle is an observation that the tendency in most organizational hierarchies, such as that of a corporation, is for every employee to rise in the hierarchy through promotion until they reach a level of respective INCOMPETENCE. In other words, a front-office secretary who is quite good at her job may thus be promoted to executive assistant to the CEO for which she is not trained or prepared for.
My theory that CJP was a good DC and was promoted to a HC position to which he is not trained or prepared for. It starts at the top and trickles down. Just watching him on the sidelines and pressers....I am very uninspired. I don't believe he inspires our team.
The Pruitt Principle is in full effect. He is incompetent as Head Coach. The Tennessee HC position is not one to learn "on the job". We need a proven winner with HC experience. Until then we should be called the Tennessee Volundores.
