We’re starting 5 freshmen, 8 Fr/Soph (6 coming on defense just Wanya and Darnell on offense) and have about 18 Freshmen and Sophomores in the 2 deep. We are playing youth. Way more youth than anyone else and way more than any coach would want.

Completely agree. My thing is that it feels like we have been a youth laden team for almost 6 yrs (except Kamara’s breakout yr/ the yr of comebacks & heart attacks as I call it). Where are they all going? The development of players physically and mentally has been complete Shiite for some time now. No one expected this yr to go this way; no one. We just need to see progress on the fundamentals & the players techniques. So far we haven’t seen it outside of a few players.

It could.

You would also hope it included a majority of the upperclassmen that may view the move as playing for the future while sacrificing the present. I'm not saying they believe JG figures it out and this turns around but I think they know the other 2 aren't ready for this yet either.

These players know.

Rally doesnt matter. Run game, ol, tes, wrs have been fine. Energy wont make them better, nor do they really have to be better. It is about execution and right now no qb can deliver passes needed to score enough.

Either run the ball more or simplify the scheme. This isnt working no matter the qb

Frost had a connection with him before that. He was the key to the talent Oregon drug out of Cali. As soon as Nebraska landed Frost they had Martinez. Wouldn’t have been shocked if he had flipped him at UCF.

Was doing well before Grayson. Hopefully just an anomaly. 9tds 5 ints so far. About 8 ypa. 59% completion

Do you think Dooley and Jones were not given ample time? I think the perception that Tennessee has not given their coaches time is widely overstated.

I think Dooley and Butch were both cut loose at the appropriate time, give or take a game or two.

Signs were showing well before that, but you have to be careful with giving the appearance of not pulling the trigger too soon. We handled those correctly

I don’t oppose players transferring. I oppose a rule that encourages them to quit 1/3 thru the year to do so
