Class will hold strong if they feel CJP and staff will be good.

If we manage to win five games then we can exude confidence. If we win two games, I do not see how anyone can exude any confidence in our staff and future. It would be obvious to recruits that Pruitt is not going to last. Also, we are all so confident Bailey will save us at Quarterback when we have three now ( two recruited by Pruitt) and they all look lost. I’m worried our development of QBs is terrible and even Bailey may come in looking lost.

What they can do immediately is try to develop a QB. They have an extra week to see who's the best option and get him ready. Make him the leader.

Agree with rest of your post (stop shuffling, get an O coach on sideline, etc), but they've had all offseason to develop QBs. Don't expect much in 2 weeks. Might as well cut down the playbook and see who can do best in a simpler system. Let em all semi scrimmage to their strengths and go from there. Don't feel we are playing to our passing game strength right now - let our big receivers make plays.

It’s not just “starting” but you already know that. You just want to keep this BS going. We’ve played I think 17 true freshman this year. Go find another team we compete with that has to do that.

4-8 is probably safe but would be worse case imo. that not only further proves that we have a shi* headcoach but one that is going to an ultra hotseat year 3 so good luck recruiting and bringing in new assistants bc im sure some will be leaving. similar to dooleys last year.

it would be better to just completely nuke this season and go 1-11 or 2-10 an go ahead and cut our losses and go a different route.

I disagree with that last bit. Pruitt is bringing in players with SEC size and potential and has them hitting the S&C like they should be. At minimum, we need him to leave us with a cabinet of SEC ready players. Not sure that happens if we cut him this year, but if the recruiting class falls apart (read: Bailey decommits. He’s the only one that matters imo) then yes, we may be better off getting rid of him.

I think JG is gone.

He has nothing to gain by leaving mid season. He has 1 year of eligibility left regardless and he has already graduated so he will be eligible immediately next year where ever he decides to go. He will stick out the rest of the year then he leaves. It makes 0 sense for him to leave mid season rather he starts or not

Why not give Jahmir a shot on the DL. He played violent when he was at OG. Give him a shot at DE and see if he can be disruptive. Can’t be any worse than what we have.

I wouldn’t mind a public backing made by Fulmer at some point, but when would be the best time? Now? After we get handled by UGA? Bama? What if we can’t get passed MSU and really do start 1-6? I mean, does Fulmer just say “I continue to have faith in Jeremy Pruitt and this staff,” week after week?

I want Pruitt to be successful and I am in the camp that a QB could solve a lot of our problems, but i really don’t know how we can silence the hot seat talk at this point. This season is about to get much worse unless Maurer goes full Tebow or something.

Random, but despite QB play (especially FL game), I still don’t think Chaney is getting enough out of our offense. Have we disguised a screen pass at all?

I think he’s been skating free so far. We are paying that dude a ton of money.
