Living in WV, obviously, see a lot of wvu news. I really like Neil Brown. He has them 3-1, albeit they got curb stomped by Missouri. They lost virtually everything last year.

Not winning and getting blown out every week against good opponents will do that. Message board talk will not.

What they can do immediately is try to develop a QB. They have an extra week to see who's the best option and get him ready. Make him the leader. Use the extra time to figure out their best 22 and stop the shuffling that creates confusion and misalignments. Let guys settle into their positions and get a rhythm going. Stop moving the young guys around like chess pieces-- it's hard enough to get one position right.

Then they can let Pruitt focus on the D with Ansley and bring Tee and/or Chaney out of the booth to get in offensive guys' faces on the sideline. Let Tee and Chaney help the QB and WRs and hold guys accountable face-to-face. Show some passion and don't let the guys get down and give up. Find leaders, let the players own their positions, make guys accountable, divide and conquer, and see if that helps. We have big problems, so condense it to manageable chunks and solve what we can. JMO.

He’s given us nothing to have confidence in.
His personnel decisions suck.
Game plan sucks.
The defense, which he hung his hat on, has regressed since he got here.
We don’t tackle well, we’re out of position a lot.
If defense is your bread and butter and that’s where you made your bones, as a head coach, that unit has to show something. And I don’t see it.

dline, backers, and secondary all look worse. How?!!!!
Pre snap penalties, lining up wrong, guys confused and looking around for signals. We have no direction.

If we were losing, and looking competent, I’m all for letting him stay and supporting him. But he and his staff have given us NOTHING to look forward to the future about

Montez? He was mediocre last 2 years and is lighting it up right now. They lost 7 straight to end last season. He didn't inherit that much. But they have progressed right away.

Having to play guys too early that aren’t ready isn’t poor coaching. So take lumps this year with BM then turn around and take lumps next year with HB. Sounds like a solid plan.

Well.
Dooley was a position coach in the NFL until taking an OC job recently.
The band guy is still getting coffee 2 years later.

Kiffin has at least landed 2 more HC jobs since he left but we didnt fire him.

I can’t see BM coming in and winning is any games. I think we will be more competitive, but that’s it.
