It's Miss. St. not Ole Miss, but more winnable either wayI think Maurer is the best alternative, because of his legs, but like I said, all quarterbacks who are on an inferior team have to deal with this. and our line is holding better. We haven't played Georgia or Bama and maybe JG is better when the line doesn't hold. They probably won't do that as well against them as the BYU, Georgia State and over rated Florida teams. So, there is that. There is also an Ole Miss game in between those that we have a better chance of winning, if miniscule. It is a hard choice. Any coach with a heart would feel bad throwing JG to the wolves, and then letting the young guys play against the ones we could possibly win.
Pruitt does need to manage the clock better. Went to the half with all his time outs (or maybe two of the three?) We were with in striking distance and it boggled the mind. End of the game, same thing. If he gives up, then why would the players play hard for him?Coaches can't make the plays for them. They can't go out on the field and line them up either. If we used a timeout every our guys didn't line themselves up correctly we would run out in the first few minutes of play.
I saw fewer issues with lining up yesterday.
Did you know that when you say the words backward and forward, your lips move in the same direction as the word you’re saying?I agree. We’re going backwards not forwards. I just know how Fulmer wanted to turn things around and wanted time and it makes me wonder if he won’t do the same for a coach. Of course Fulmer never had a team perform this poorly
I have friends that are die hard fans of other schools, and they could care less when they lose. So wish I could be that way!I think the thing that’s got me the most introspectively frustrated is that I hate, with a passion, every other team in the SEC, and lots of teams from other conferences. But, as a person, I don’t know that I’d wish this on anyone. College football is absolutely no fun, there is no entertainment to be had for us. And while I hate all those other teams, I know that there are decent people in their respective fanbases (much like there are wonderful and horrible people in our fanbase). And, like I said, for the decent people, I just really don’t know that I’d wish this abject despair on them.
Or go to Bama and be an analyst and let us pay his salary. That is what Saban is doing with CBJ. CBJ is much more than an errand boy analyst like so many here think. Saban and Bama just letting us pay their staff
