How many sacks and hurries does crouch have?
How many pan cakes does wanya and right have? What’s our YPC running behind them. Just bc they are on the field doesn’t mean they are always playing well.

I’m not trying to bash his guys by any means bc they are young and i think they don’t have a great leader, motivator, or great coaches around them. But i hate this narrative that all the upperclassman are just ass and the freshman/sophomores are just waiting on them to leave so we can win.

Who has gotten better under this staff so far? What guys have stepped foot on the field the last two years under Pruitt and made you say, “those guys are getting coached up!! Look at the plays they’re making now. Look at them in the right spots, not being fooled anymore! Look at them making correct reads!!!”

Every player who was decent to good prior to this staff has damn near taken a step back. That’s SCARY

Disagree - The receivers as a group for instance are much improved vs when Butch was here. The O Line is much improved from last year and I think improving week to week. JG has not been the same guy since his injury late last year. Bitulli and Henry T are playing well.

He's only been with extremely talented teams. He knew what they looked like as 10+ win teams. He didn't see that, but he thought he was seeing an 8 win team. Maybe he just didn't know an 8 win team at UT needs dang near generational guys like Kamara and Barnett and Dobbs. We have none of those guys and he was seeing a 4 or 5 win team the whole time, he just didnt know what that looked like.

It’s coaches speak...take it with a grain of salt. About as valuable as Wes Rucker’s 8 minute practice assessments.

The receivers are MUCH worse than they were under Butch. A lot of time it seems like JJ is the only guy running his routes.

No one is saying all of those guys are trash, not even close.
What you're not admitting is that freshmen starting in the SEC is rare, at least it's supposed to be.
The fact that we're starting this many is proof of a problem with too many.. but definitely not all.

Exactly.

It’s still the responsibility of the coaching staff to make players better even if they didn’t recruit them.

Eh, I’m not sold on Pruitt but no one has gotten worse. JG was terrible with Butch. Jennings is the same. OL has gotten better. Front 7 has totally changed from last year. CB’s were good last year.

Major snaps = 30% of the saints plays for tuttle and 35% of the plays in a blow out for phillips (and no snaps in game 1)?

Regardless, your upperclassmen SHOULD be your best impact players. You named 2 guys out of 85 from the roster last year. We've got maybe 3 of those in JJ, Callaway and Chandler. Nobody on either Line. Butuli is good but not great. There is maybe one upperclassmen on this team that would start at UGa, Bama or LSU (JJ), and even him I'm not sure about. If he was really an all SEC type talent he'd be in the League now and not a 5th year senior. I'm not sold on Pruitt either, and honestly one foot out the door after Ga State, but if he had equitable talent to the rest of the SEC they would not have been the only team without a draft pick last year and looking like repeating that this year.

You and catbone should mate. I’ve have been live to these games and the kids play well and I their jobs better than Warrior JG and the others. Did you even notice on third and short CROUCH busted the hole and ran four yards for a first down. Yes, crouch making a play running the ball. I am pissed at staff but his guys look way better and that is as first year players and those really are HIS recruits.

His papa told somebody he was a DT-QB. Probably nobody cared to actually scout the terrible state of New Jersey and just took his word.
