I agree. We’re going backwards not forwards. I just know how Fulmer wanted to turn things around and wanted time and it makes me wonder if he won’t do the same for a coach. Of course Fulmer never had a team perform this poorly

Fulmer will make a move the second he believes Pruitt can’t move forward. His only loyalty is to the university.

Again coaches don't win games, players do! Once Pruitt gets the players then he will win!! Keep firing coaches and not getting players and the losing will continue.

Sounds good and all , but how do you get players to come when you look like ish on the field ?

Pruitt stocking that defense made it much easier. No schematic change.

Lifetime average is 26.4 points by Chaney vs Grantham. 26.4 points would rank in the 80s this year for a scoring offense. No bueno.

Last thing we need is a coaching change. Just gotta keep the wagons circled until we can fix the roster. The Tyson Helton experiment continues to be a fatal flaw of Pruitt’s HC tenure. All three QBs on scholarship were recruited by other staffs with major question marks as evaluators. We have 2 projects and a Butch Jones victim with severe PTSD. Chaney has weapons at his disposal and a sufficient line, but has been totally hamstrung by a passer who can’t even throw an accurate screen. An infusion of talent makes coaches look much better, as we’ve seen with the O-line, we just need that infusion at every position group...which takes time for recruitment and development.

WE HAVE TO STOP MISSING ON QBS
So sickening thinking what could have been watching Martinez, Minshew, Howell, Lawrence...even GTs! How did we not even try for Hurts, Fields, or Bryant? Reality is we have a MAC qb room right now, and that makes it real hard to win SEC games.

PSSTTT... it's not just the players... the coaching staff is horrible right now.

I agree. Something is odd. This team doesn’t look right. Something is off. In the broadcast today, the sideline reporter witnesses a lineman raid his hand and ask “what are we doing??”... how is that possible?

That's a valid question. Of course I am sure that the sideline reporter didn't hear the entire exchange.

I hope this is true I just don’t think anyone knows. @Atlanta VOL said to strap up because JP isn’t going anywhere. Best case scenario is we somehow get UAB and 3 others...SC, Vandy maybe and one other and get to 5 wins

The defense played well enough to win. Hard to Win when you turn it over in the redzone as many times as we did. JG played awful and Pruitt made the right call to change QB's. Maurer still doesn't know what he's doing out there, but even then he's better than JG.

I think we should roll with him and take our lumps. As for Pruitt, I believe we should let the season play out. Still a long way to go.
