Not taking up for him, hes clearly regressed. Part on him and part on coaches maybe, but I only mean coaches should know his strengths and weaknesses. His strength was clearly deep, backshoulder type passes off off PA and letting our PLAYMAKERS MAKE PLAYS. Did we see a single play action pass today?? A SINGLE jump ball?? We're not even letting our playmakers make plays. Such a waste of talent.

HEY! The Espn commentator, as im typing this, said exactly the same..."whats this quarterback do well? Whats he not do well? We gotta craft our offense around that, because I don't know if they're doing that just yet".

Hint: we are not.

How do you craft your offense behind a Qb who cannot hit a player 5 yards from him?

Same. If we don’t seriosuly consider Urban Meyer we can kiss our football program goodbye

Contact him on the downlow and throe the bank at him. If he is down, every money guy will come out of the woodworks to get all the buyouts off the books and make it happen. Instant 8+ floor off the bat and recruiting off the chain. No more **** UT. Hell I'll a bitcoin to the cause. 9 or $10k idgaf tired of this losing

You throw it deep and let players make plays. What could be worse? We are trying to make long drives, west coast type offense, with a team that makes too many mistakes, cant convert short yardage, etc. Better off playing high variance deep ball strategy. Hit a few and it also opens up running.

Mullen and Grantham again proven the better playcallers and developers. Chaney doesnt seem to understand our strengths and is putting JG in a box he doesnt fit. Hasnt developed our QBs whatsoever. Chaney needs immense talent to appear successful and we dont have it right now.
Chaney has beaten Gratham by an average of 26 points the last two years at UGA. Scored at least 36 points. It ain't chaney.

We saw last week what happened when he throws the deep ball. He’s hit or miss and he’s more miss than hit.

Should have put Chaney’s salary at the end of that tweet. That being said he doesn’t have a QB or offensive line.
1.5m and I have yet to hear a single play heralded as a great call. He always was a solid, but top-35 or 40 playcaller. Solid, but never genius or innovative. He lived off others' systems for a decade, then got sucked into the run heavy doldrum. Now hes lost any ingenuity he had learned while at Purdue. Even worse he no longer "plays to his players' strengths". It just seemed that way at UGA because anyone can call a run play 65% of the time with their stable of backs lol.

Meanwhile Mullen developed a guy that hasnt started in 7 years to throw for 300 yards. He took a 22 PPG offense and in his first year scored 35 PPG.

The gap in COACHING between us and UF was very present today. Not recruited talent, not time in the system. Pure coaches vs recruiters.

One day we may hire some coaches that have done more with less and proven it.

Uh, maybe the problem wasn't Helton?

It’s never been the OC here unless your name is Dave ******* Clawson..it’s been the arrogance of the head coaches since then..too many controlling a$$ head coaches that want to hire some damn “yes sir” OC and not any that do it their damn way..

Exactly!!! College is more about the Joe’s and less about the X’s and O’s. Truthfully Chaney’s numbers were exaggerated by all that UGA talent. It’s pretty obvious he doesn’t have a usable QB and that is why they haven’t yanked JG yet. Maurer nor Shrout is a Hillinsky. Also no offensive line.
