Those don't quite appear as his grades. I see a 59 season ranking, 4 pts below the next worst OL. He is 5th of their OL with a minimum 50 snaps.

Well that's not true at all. PFF has him graded much closer to the bottom of the league than the top rn.

I see him at PFF as 4th in SEC and 21st of 130 overall.

If we hired Meyer, it would be like selling our soul to the devil. I have more respect for Saban than I do Urban Meyer. I get that he wins wherever he goes, and I very much want UT winning again, but I'm not sure I want to pay that price. I am not a fan of Urban Meyer in any way.

The game after that was the beginning of the end of the Butch era. What easily should have been the start of something special for Tennessee wound up killing the program. Georgia was down. Florida was down. The stars aligned. 2016 was the year we were going to start to become what Georgia is now. Instead, we turned into Vanderbilt.

I honestly think that second half vs UF was the only time all year that UT played up to its talent level. We barely hung on against a mediocre Georgia, lost to a mediocre A&M, got absolutely annihilated by Bama at home, and then crapped the bed the rest of the season. Nearly lost to App State and beat Ohio by one score.

The downfall began between 2015 and 2016. The 2015 team was tough but had weak coaching. The 2016 team was weak AND had weak coaching.

Should have gone 11-1 in 2016 and no worse than 7-5 or so in 2017. Butch would still be here but would probably be on a scorching hot seat without Dobbs.

I don't get it. What are you looking at specifically? Look at offensive grade. I see 56.5. Or passing grade, I see 53.6. Talking 2019.

He definitely took an inequitable amount of the blame. Some fans only seemed to remember the bad with him last year. Now, not saying he was great or anything, only that his positives balanced out the negatives and considering how atrocious our line was, he was about as good as there was (best pass blocker and 3rd best run blocker). He was solid, relative to what we had last year. Also think the penalty issue was a weird anomaly. He went from only 3 penalties in 2017 to 12 in 2018 and has 1 so far this season.

Wish him the best. Seems like a good kid and was unlucky to have to deal with the shizshow under CBJ, having multiple OL coaches, who all stunk, and an S&C program that stunk.

For reasons I don't know, this is the first Florida game I've not been nervous about going into. I think we whip them, and have no reasoning to back that up.
