Cokie Roberts Dead

If you believe that somehow the left is the party of decency and tolerance, you're not paying attention. Both sides have their bad apples and need to be purged sooner, rather than later. I'm not a huge fan of Michelle Malkin and her timing wasn't the best considering Roberts hasn't been buried yet. But to come here and act as if this is truly disgraceful and beyond anything your own party has ever done is laughable.

Grandstanding by you, yet again.

I don't. Why do you keep making up positions for me? This is the 3rd fabrication ITT, and it's just one page long.

Not a good look, but your side will talk much worse about Trump on the day he dies.

Jokes on you, I'm talking bad about him today.

That makes no sense and you don't seem to even understand the labels you keep using. None of them apply to the person you just quoted

Well, I replied to your response. The comparison was in response to the anti Trump reply you made. My reply was a fair comparison regarding another topic. My apologies that you failed to grasp it.

We got what you're saying, the problem is it's erroneous. If you have a problem with people that attack R's for being anti-everything, take it up with them. What he's saying is being anti-Trump doesn't make you progressive or radical left. I'm a libertarian. I value liberty, small government, and fiscal responsibility. That's why I'm anti-Trump. Grasp that, if you can.

It gets old having to fend off arguments to positions that have never been asserted.

You can point this fact out but they are generally to dense to allow it the time needed to resonate. You're either one of them or not, most don't have the capacity to recognize that it's not just the socialist democrats that don't support Donny.

I don't have an issue with those that voice their opinions about Trump. I don't agree with everything he says and does either, I've made that obvious on multiple occasions. What I have an issue with is with the left's policy of making a spectacle of every issue or statement made by a conservative, knowing that they are guilty of the exact same thing, while they paint with a broad brush and blame any and all conservatives.

No. It's the double standard that's constantly used against conservatives.

BTW, fyp.

Perhaps you should complain about the double standard to people who are actually guilty of it, otherwise it just looks like you're whining.

That includes yourself, correct?

Both R's and D's perpetuate the same double standards. We could talk all day about either party hypocritically attacking the other side and giving their side passes for the same offenses (or non-offenses).

That and your arrogance in believing you're the smartest one in the thread but can't seem to master spelling and grammar in multiple posts sealed it.

Oof. Mistakes happen but damn... resorting to a grammar nazi'ing is scraping the bottom of the deflection barrel, are ad homs next?

Also, I rarely think I'm the smartest one in a given conversation. Do I make you feel like you aren't? Is that the source of your hostility?

Why do you think I love the AP? I don't care about them. I'm not into this team ******** that makes people act stupid and inconsistent.

These poor bots. Their onEvent triggers just autorun remember_that_time_when_your_side_was_worse.exe

Sadly, it is a pretty clunky program. It assumes that anyone who perceives the plain fact that the Michelle Malkins and Donald Trumps of the world only care about themselves is a fictional militant socialist character with predetermined metadata.

Still, it is better than thinking I guess, since that is about half of the conservative response in these threads.

I was going to ping the liberals here too, but the longer the Trump era continues the more trouble I have loading both_sides_are_bad.exe

You guys won't believe this. Michelle Malkin is peddling fake news right now at this very moment. Look at this atrocious article she wrote.

Fake Headline: Facebook Incites Violent War on ICE

Reality: a Facebook group calls for a protest and few weirdos may have made threats in the comments.

Facebook Incites Violent War on ICE

Here is the post she is talking about. It's had 4 comments in 4 days....4! And none of them are visible so I must assume the group or Facebook deleted them. It's amazing to me that such a hard-hitting warrior against fake news like MM would manipulate us with a false headline, intentionally mislead us about how few people are actually misbehaving, unfairly try to paint facebook as a hypocrite for allowing such comments, and fail to include screenshots and names:

Being anti-Trump doesn’t mean you’re a democrat. It’s not an either/or situation.
