Nope - not about state's rights. Read up on the Interstate Commerce Act. It's all about commerce and moving goods across the states. Although the original act pertained to railroads, the concept was simple - make rules of the road the same across all states so that trucks, for example, could roll coast to coast with the same set of rules in one state as another. The CA rule requiring specific tires for trucks is in complete noncompliance. How TN teaches kids vs how NY teaches kids K-12 is an example of something that should be covered by states rights because one has no bearing on the other.

Don’t think u understand how we conservatives were looking for anyone other than another weak azz rino willing to bow to the left to be viewed as nice.

We wanted someone who was ready to rip the system apart and rip the right apart too.

He was winning the election the second he entered and I am on record here way before everyone else when I stated he would destroy his opponents in debates. I called him winning it all the second he declared because their are a ton of us out there who are sick of this crap.

They do fine. It was more accurate than many of the others that are way far left.

I think you also have to consider this is an approval poll, not a "would vote for poll".

I think his numbers would be noticeably higher in the latter as the Dems arent compelling too much confidence.

The limited nature of these polls is one reason I dont like them. Too easy to skew the results to fit a narrative. Trump does it all the time, the Ds famously did it in 16.

In every poll I've seen about who one would vote for, Trump is normally in the high 30s or low 40s, while every other Democrat is in the low 50s or high 40s. I doubt he wants to bring those up.

Of course we are still over a year out from the election, so a lot can change between now and then.

In the past I had always secretly admired the Democrat’s discipline and strategic maneuvering.

It turns out that all falls apart when they don’t have a pushover as an adversary. They are a paper tiger, if you will.

Trump the gump has caused them to self implode 🤣

‘America Was Never Great!’: Communist Group Burns American Flag As Trump Visits

A self-described group of communists burned the American flag outside of a Los Angeles hotel Tuesday as the president was in the city.

Revolution Club Los Angeles tweeted out a video Wednesday of members burning the American flag and chanting “America was never great!” A clash broke out shortly after as a pro-Trump counter-protester tried to break into the circle, the New York Post reported.

The group wrote that they had a message for President Donald Trump: “**** you & the shithole system u rule over!” Trump was attending a fundraiser nearby hosted by Republican donor Geoffrey Palmer, the Post reported. Several fights broke out Tuesday evening between protesters and supporters of the president amid the arrival of President Donald Trump in Los Angeles for a fundraising event.

According to CBS Los Angeles’s Chris Holmstrom, the fights began between several groups, including Antifa, out front of the Beverly Hills Hotel after an American flag was lit on fire.

Beverly Hills police were on the scene and had to respond to multiple fights, ultimately putting an end to the brawls and separating the groups. No arrests were made following the scuffles, although several people were detained.​

RNC Announces Record $23.5 Million Raised in August

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is announcing this week that it raised a record $23.5 million in August and now has $53.8 million cash on hand, according to a report from Fox News.

Fox News noted the significance and said the RNC’s “August fundraising total was the highest recorded in August during an off-cycle year by either the RNC or DNC, and the RNC has not had as much cash on hand since September 2016, just before Election Day.”

“The more Democrats demonize President Trump and his supporters, the more boots we can put on the ground to re-elect him,” McDaniel added. “Between the President’s accomplishments and our grassroots infrastructure, Republicans are going to be unstoppable in 2020!”

For months, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has failed to outperform the RNC in fundraising efforts. In June, the RNC raised $14 million, while the DNC raised $7 million in the same time period. In July, the RNC raised more than $20 million, while the DNC only garnered $7.7 million.
