We should try at least 1 of these Saturday.

Need Debord to draw up some trick plays for us. Say what you want but the man had some beauties.

I’m sure Chaney has some stashed away. I’d be alright with trying one. Could swing the game in our favor if it’s successful. Don’t go full Muschamp and trick play yourself out of the game like he did Saturday against Alabama.
Bamas a different beast than fl. They make you play honest. Execution, mistake free football with a couple surprises thrown in is key to them. Even then you've got to have enough talent on your roster to match, and not many teams do.

All depends on what our defense is doing and what our QB is giving us. I think we’re going to have to gamble to win it’s just a matter of how much.

If your dline is hemorrhaging yardage on the ground it doesn’t matter how much you gamble you’re going to lose.

Yes to the halfback pass, or maybe WR pass with JJ, but I'd use caution with the fake kicks and onside 2 point only if necessary.
Pruitt seems to favor the onside kick and came a hair of executing it perfectly against UF last year. Chaney favors the flea flicker which I doubt we'll see at all. I like the double pass which is a long lateral thrown backwards followed by a pass downfield. JJ and Dobbs pulled it off in Gainesville and Iowa St. did it this past weekend against Iowa. A time and place for everything

JG stand like deer in headlights and make late pass behind the sticks, or option 2, try to run it up the middle. Ya know, what we always do 🤷
I think if we do try it on 4th, wishbone with Jennings or putting in Maurer and use his legs might work. Didnt fl use Tebow this way behind Leak?

Muschamp had the right idea with that fake FG, the hold absolutely killed it though. Like you said execution. I will say though, seems to be since that Bama defense isn’t as relied on to win football games as it once was, they seem pretty vulnerable through 3 weeks of football. Not saying we’d beat them, we won’t, but they just don’t seem as dominant with all the injuries they’ve had and having to play their youngsters

I don't care what we try. I think keys to having a chance at winning are..
Take advantage of their weak offensive line
Have a plan for both their qbs
Line up correctly
Actually tackle people
JG channel himself from the Auburn game
Throw beyond the sticks
Surprise Mullen by giving Maurer some snaps

All in all we'll need to force turnovers and those boys need to play like their pants are on fire. Hopefully Pruitt and Chaney have some tricks up their sleeves. I have little faith on us pulling this off.

I like all of the above, especially Maurer. UT needs to use Maurer in the red zone and let him roll and pass due to them keying on run after he ran several times vs UTC! Maurer is legit. Let the boy play some in the red zone! If JG plays like he did the beginning of last year, play Maurer period for at least two possessions to see what happens! EVERYONE KNOWS UF WILL KEY ON RUN and MAKE UT PASS TO WIN!!! If JG can't pass well, better put in one of the freshmen to get it done. Maurer is my choice!!!

Would love to see the long lateral again.
