I know there wasn't, and still isn't, much respect for BYU on here for whatever reasons, but they will go through their rough 4 game opener, including 3 ranked opponents, no worse than 2-2. Boise St also remains. The rest is water. They could easily go 9-3, with 10-2, (even 11-1 slightly) on the table. Chance to be of the best BYU teams in recent years.

This would be fun... Every time Mullen sees CJP for the rest of his life he remembers that stare and the only words uttered at the handshake. "B!tch, I beat you with JG."

Pruitt was asked about his play in the presser and he said nothing of injury. 247 guys mentioned him in chat, nothing about injury.

We may well lose on Saturday, but nothing makes my head hurt more than reading people say “we’re gonna lose because we always lose”.

Each years game is a separate event, and no event has an impact on any of the others. It’s basic statistics.

The only way another event impacts the current event is if the participants (our team) have bought into the idea that “we always lose so we’re going to lose” which I can’t imagine as competitive individuals it has. If anything you’d think it would make them more motivated (which I guess, in theory, could make them play tight and lead to mistakes).

Imo we need to see as many 5 man fronts as possible this weekend. Pressure Trask into throwing 30+ .passes. Offensively Kentucky looked like they were able to run somewhat to the outside. I would expect some misdirection to the weak side just to slow down the pursuit of the UF defense. Chaney needs to keep it simple in the passing game. decisive throws on the outside JG makes look easy, it is when he has to go from read 1 to read 2 to read 3 is where he is late.

I think the bigger gap is Mullen to Chaney though tbh. Mullen is a master of the craft.

Meh...he is very good. I have never, and will never understand the hyperbole you Mehlanites shower on him...

I have seen Mehlan call great games, and I have seen him vaporlock just like everybody else...and I have seen the exact same from Chaney..

That honestly just makes it worse in a way, knowing we had them. What did you call our coaches? B level?
I mean those b levels came with a game plan capable of taking them down and if BYU ends up being really good....oof.

Just a few A level throws shy of what could have been a big win.
