We always qualify with “against UTC” and we should...because it was. However, what’s the confidence level on who we had out there before? Same as the Wright/Calbert combo. We’ve seen other combinations go backwards WAY too many times against the same level programs. I liked the account where Calbert missed his guy, immediately owned it and told the QB it wouldn’t happen again...and it didn’t. That’s the type of players we need on the field.

That was the best starting 5 on the line, I'm glad they are settled.

Seems to be the best size, strength, agility, and talent as a group. They're inexperienced, but will be able to figure it out on the field.

I think it was condition/health related. Wanted him 100% ready before giving him the nod I think.

I’d rather them accidentally push their guy backwards more often than the options who are EXPERIENCED at getting their azzes trashed! That they understand WHY they’re powerless in competition is no consolation to this fan.
