No, I’m not.

I’m simply saying the outcome would be the same. He’s had that long at WSU because the expectation is so low. If he’s not beating Georgia State and BYU by year 2-3 we’d run him out of town.

With which part?

But no, neither actually.

I just found out that he actually would have taken the job and the reason of wanting to see if his offense would work in the SEC seems as good as any.

He ran Kentucky’s offense under Hal Mumme, so that’s already proven.

Put up some gaudy numbers as well, if I remember correctly.

So it’s like 98-99?

I don't know what you mean.

I don't believe anyone would want to fire anyone ONLY because they didn't beat Alabama or Florida in year 1or 2. That's just stu...not true.

Sounds like you’re making excuses for Pruitt.

We hired out of the bargain bin again. He’s performing at a lower level because he’s a first time HC. Could he improve at be great? Sure, but all signs point to an absolute bust. If you can’t see that after an 0-2 start with losses to GState and BYU then your orange glasses have fogged up too much.

We used to want a Home run hire. Now we just want someone better than the one we have, and although I haven't completely written off Pruitt, many have, so what does that say?
I think it's to soon to write of our coaches. See Auburn and Kentucky game . Also last year Fulmer said that it was a 4 to 5 year rebuild to be able to consistently be competitive in the sec I think we will start seeing a better team threw this year and there will be a couple upsets and next year we start building serious depth . As bad as this year has been I have seen improvement in positions and we are 6 dumb plays from being 2-0 . I know we just can't keep firing coaches to get to the top got to have some patients.

Completely unrealistic expectations.
No matter who we hire if they don’t beat 1 of the 3 in year two it’s fire him right now! Pay whoever whatever it takes! They could do it before now

Seems like, in your mind, JP gets every get-out-of-jail card in the world, whilst every other possibility must be the resurrection of Neyland, no exceptions.
