Remember when some of us wanted Les Miles?

Now 47-24 Kansas...

All I’m saying is, he’s making Kansas play to a much higher level than they have in years. I’m not against Pruitt, but objectively speaking, our stock isn’t trending upwards

He’s beating Boston college. Is that supposed to be hugely impressive? I wanted Scott Frost and they don’t seem to be making the jump yet at Nebraska but it’s only week 3 now so we’ll see. There’s a lot of games left to play before saying we should’ve hired someone else.

He’s beating Boston college, with Kansas, as a 20 point underdog

Les can coach

I was cool with Miles until he said Texas was the only UT or something like that. I got grudge issues

Yes because odds makers have never made a mistake before. It’s Boston College, not Clemson.

Okay. How bout this, Kansas hasn’t beaten a Power 5 school on the road or won more than 3 games in a season in 10 years.

I think Les would have done well here and I would have been happy to have him considering all our choices (or lack of them) at that time. I dont know if his record would be any different right now however as long as we have the same horses on the field. Perhaps even worse, as I dont know that he would have been able to bring in a Chaney.

Until JG gets it together, most things wont matter. See how many mistakes Dobbs covered for Butch - and CBJ really was out of his league but a talent like Dobbs camouflaged it.

I think the caveat for Les would be using our resources to hire big name coordinators in exchange for getting the job.

Like we will hire you and give you money to hire staff but it has to be big time coordinators.

Kansas lost to Coastal Carolina. also.

There may be a better option than Pruitt... Miles isn't it

We'd be 2-0 with Miles as our head coach. Of course, we'd likely be 2-0 if we had any other SEC coach (other than Morris)...

Kansas is a coaches graveyard. They had lost 48 straight road games vs Power 5. Obviously, he’s selling something to overcome that history.

Not sure why people are down on Les. He beat Saban 3 times as their coach, which is still more than any current coach in the SEC.

Well, he’s doing well with Kansas. Has them 1-1, and currently beating Boston College 41-24 right now and they were 19.5 point underdogs.

I was in the camp of trying to hire Miles. Anyone think our record would be better with him?
Les Miles would not have needed OTJ training from Fulmer to be head coach. And he wasn't hired because of it.

Probably still loose to BYU because of players with Tennessee having 4 of the top 5 defensive players not playing.

Win against Georgia state because of Miles experience as a HC knowing you always have to have your team ready to play regardless of opponent.
Like Coastal Carolina. 😏

I guess with Les we would have success and not a mess.

Yes, I confess that we could regress against the best of the rest.

2-0 with les. I can’t believe the things I have read here. No doubt in my mind 2-0. We are so beat down as a program and fan base it drives me crazy. Les>jp
