I'm just sick that we couldn't get Jalen Hurts. Man, just imagine if he was here. I need to forget it. But we're talking about FINALLY getting over a major hump with him at QB. If Bailey is who we hope he is, we'll be back sooner rather than later. QB makes up for a lot. We haven't had one since Dobbs.

With how Pruitt is turning a blind eye to the QB situation,Hurts probably knew JG would still get the start

The OL overall executed the best I’ve seen in a long time against much older guys which was a big concern of mine. That was with a stacked box and JG being incapable of stretching the defense. Younger guys growing up. You are looking at the bad and missing the good. Got to keep getting better and wins have to come but GS just kills any narrative that is positive. Need to win two OOC and 3 sec games. Would still be 5 wins but if we stay in the game against the big boys then that will be what I’m lookin for. Another GS debacle and he is done.

I'm looking at the totality. I recognize where the Vols have progressed but also where they've regressed. Sure a loss to GA SO is part of that equation. I seriously doubt we win one SEC game. Maybe KY, maybe Vandy? I think we lose the rest easily and of course Bama and GA embarrassingly. Hope I'm wrong. Would love to be wrong. "Once bitten, twice shy".

Agreed! We are 2-0 and likely 3-0 going into the Swamp with a ton of confidence. This is part of the reason why I do not understand why we haven’t tried another QB just to see how the other guys do under the lights. If they suck it up against UTC, then so be it and we have our answer. But I think you at least have to try.
