Kentucky's QB was not very good; basically an RB playing QB. As much as people dislike JG here, he's a much better passer than Kentucky's QB. Kentucky's 10-win season was a combination of a good run game, good defense, and luck (the refs gave them the Mizzou game).

South Carolina's backup QB may be better than Bentley. We'll have to see (can't really tell against Charleston Southern), but Bentley was a pretty mistake-prone QB and Hilinski was a top recruit.

Almost everybody wanted USCe's freshman QB. He looked really good Saturday, granted it was against Charleston Southern, but considering we couldn't handle Georgia State I don't think we can sneer at that anymore.

SC's offense just improved...literally. Hilinski is much more accurate, gets the ball out much quicker also. Bentley will have to transfer, he has lost his job for good and he knows it. Luke Doty comes in next year to compete with Hilinski....

Agree on all points. And the Kentucky 10-win season being smoke and mirrors cannot be stressed enough. I've said it a million times, that was the worst top ten team I've ever seen. They struggled against Toledo with their starting QB. As bad as we are, they can still very much be a win.
