Sitting JG to take lumps for next year doesn’t really get you any more ready for next year. It’s likely Shrout and Mauer are currently not going to outperform JG also. It’s really a rock and a hard place

I’d rather lose with a Freshman giving everything then a Redshirt Junior who is awful.

Part of me feels sorry for JG. Dude has been up and beaten down due to O Line the last few years, inconsistency in OC position, etc.

I think we should all at least appreciate him for the lumps he has taken. Is he fixable at this point, I don’t think so and I will respect him for taking a beating over the last few years.

Don’t think there’s a Bray or Dobbs waiting in the wings. QB play can probably get a lot worse. Just gotta suffer through this 1 win season and then next year maybe we can make a bowl game. 8-4 is now our ceiling

I refuse to believe JG is the best we have. Perhaps in practice, but we have no idea if Mauer us a gamer yet.

How was it a terrible call? There was no reason for him to lower his shoulder or hit him. He literally did it 2 secs after the ball was thrown. Didn’t even try to dodge him....

Not true. Recruits mainly care about the coaching staff staying together. As long as that happens recruiting will be ok

I kinda agree , but I think the freshman has some decent legs on him. That alone could win us a game we shouldn’t be winning
