Even during our worst years over the last decade, we could at least hang our hat on getting some early season wins against vastly inferior opponents. We won’t even have that this year. Both teams we lost to every UT team from the past ten years would have beaten handily.

Sneak up on who? That's a laugh. Everybody knows we suck and we intimidate No Team in any conference. Stop with the Sunshine Pumping already....we are BAD top to bottom.

We are in for another round of severe beatings this year, maybe worse than we have ever seen before. We played much harder last night, but even playing about as hard as they could for this staff, after going to the extreme of a players only meeting after week 1, we were unable to convert that juice into a victory against an average at best BYU team at home.

I don't see how we can overcome our depth, youth, and inexperience issues against teams with rosters loaded with SEC caliber players, when we cannot overcome them against teams with the same or worse depth, youth, and inexperience problems as our own. Furman gave Georgia State a tougher fight yesterday than we did. Furman.

This team is not very good at it's very best. If we bring the same level of effort we brought last night against Chattanooga, we should get by them. UAB may be a toss up if we can get up for them as well as we did BYU, but we are going to be dogged in all of the rest of the games. Thank God we don't play LSU.

I was thinking when they said a 5 year rebuild that they meant we wouldn't be competitive against the big guys in our conference. This year may be one for the record book.

At what point in the season do the players just mail it in, like in the 4th quarter of Ga St game, I can see it coming and I don't think Pruitt can avoid it......time will tell
