Firing and hiring and firing and hiring and firing and hiring is how we built this loser culture to begin with, and every time we do it the job gets worse. At some point we're going to have to grit our teeth and give somebody five or six years to build the program from the ground up. I don't know if Pruitt should be that guy -- you'd think Fulmer would be able to tell, by watching the way he runs practice -- but at some point we've got to get off the hamster wheel.

Yep. I'd fill up the two-deep with freshmen and sophomores and just roll with them as much as possible. Based on these first two games, I don't think even a .500 record is in play for this season, so just throw that out the window. W-L record be damned. Ride with the young guys and find out what you got.

So we should have given Dooley or Butch more time? Because we fired them one year too late and it ended up in disaster.

He lost to ****ing Georgia State. He can get out of here. He’s not the guy and we all know it. Should we fire him today? Probably not. But if he’s 1-7 or loses to UAB **** him and get him out.
