He made his progressions it was the leading part not the late. He came from right to left.

Uhh no when you realize the safeties aren’t over the top your seam route is always your first read because you can “lead” your receiver to the middle part of the field. The seam route should have been the first read when he realized there were no safeties over the top.

This first half reminds me of something Pruitt said in the preseason. It makes a lot of sense now. He was talking about guys that are always in position every time but not making the play as opposed to someone that doesn't always know what to do but makes plays anyway. I think its pretty clear what he meant now. The hell with it. Play the young guys and let them make their mistakes. The big plays will more than make up for it

I thought he was wanting to go to Palmer who had single coverage?

Either way the seam with no safeties over the top is always your route I don’t care if you have one on one coverage on the edge or not. The seam route is a TD scoring route if the opposing safeties are cheated over or aren’t playing deep.
