I just think we lack the talent man. You can see it. We are small and slow

I've tried man and I just don't know. Yes the game plan sucked but we couldn't even make simple coverages or the most basic blocking schemes.

Our bigger guys were pushed backwards on a few occasions.

Exactly. It’s easy to say “it’s coaching” and sure, that’s part of it. But our coaches know how to coach football. Something is missing over there. I don’t know what it is.

I'm going to smack you Bass. If we come out tonight with the same attitude then I'll be with you in wanting to give up all hope.

Our upperclassmen for the most part aren’t good. Couple that with the fact that they haven’t bought in to Pruitt and you end up with this mess we have right now. We are forced to play a lot of Pruitts young’s guy who just in all honesty aren’t really ready.

Most of coaching is getting guys to play together and to play hard.

We had the talent to beat the brakes off Auburn last year when this coaching staff got the most out of it.

Army doesn’t have the talent to compete with Michigan. Georgia State doesn’t have the talent to compete with Tennessee. But those coaching staffs got the best out of the talent available.

We’ve got some great X’s and O’s coaches. There’s no debate there. But they haven’t been able to connect with or consistently motivate the talent they’ve been given.

Coaching was a problem in that first game, but I don’t believe we have bad coaching overall. Staff is too proven. Talent should’ve made up for the coaching against GST. The fact that it didn’t shows how little our margin of error is this year.

I’m not saying anything about tonight. We may win tonight, idk. I’m just confused about why we’re seeing the same problems in the first game that we’ve seen for 3 straight years now, and it’s been especially bad in the last 3.
