We say this all the time when we look terrible against an inferior opponent...my question is when we are in a struggle to even win, why can’t the playcalling change from vanilla to more aggressive??? Once you install the game plan for the week, can you not change it and make in-game adjustments to call it more aggressively? You would rather stay vanilla and lose versus become aggressive and win??? I just don’t get it.

Wasn't my point. Point is, we've been cat sh*t for more than a decade, and our fans have stuck around. His time as a Vol is a tiny percentage of the total time of our reign of suck. Don't be lecturing good fans who have stayed through a decade of cat sh*t on what it means to be a "true fan". I won't hear it from him or any other short timer on this team.

Thanks, I checked and while I'm one of the few able to use the mobile hotspot, there was indeed a forum of people that received a cease and desist letter from straight talk.

Oh well, back to the stone age of AT&T refusing to sell me their service that my neighbor has. And waiting on my Utility company's 64 year plan to run fiber.

The gross majority of fans do what exactly to "give their all" to UT?

Very few actually spend or put in anywhere near the same amount of effort as the players. So many players go on to do big things in the NFL and then donate money back to the university, in amounts the average fan couldn't reach in their lifetime. There is a small group that actually put in real time/money/effort to the program, most buy cheap knock off UT apparel at Wal-Mart or Wal-Greens and watch the games on TV their whole life.

I get your point, but 3+ years as a player if you tracked the time invested it wouldn't even be close. UT's got too many entitled fans is what VolTwitter has shown me in the last decade.

The point still went over your head. Fans who stick through the miserable years don't deserve to be pissed on by a kid who has been a Vol for ten minutes. That's all. Not a comparison of who has bled more orange or who buys knockoff Tennessee gear VS officially licensed. Not about who makes it to the NFL and who lives in a trailer. Fans are fans. And our fans are particularly loyal and have been through a lot. DWA may go on to be the ultimate UT alum and donate millions to the university. It still wouldn't give him a right to piss on fans who have stuck around through the worst years in Tennessee history.

I think most of these players dont buy into the social contract of "giving their all for Tennessee". For 90% its a means to an end. JG is prime example. Guess t hgat what u get when go get QBs outta NJ...ol' Broadway Jay. These kids know what's up. How much scratch UT makes off their backs.
