Good or nah?

should I play Dak or Wilson, Njoku or Walker? Guice or one of my other flex options on the bench?

play Dak against the Giants, TEs are pretty even but Id lean Walker will get more targets and I would throw Guice out there he is starting this week.

Now I gotta decide if I want to put head case AB back in my line up or stick with Godwin.

Nothing like that man...just isn’t. People might have a personal stick in the fire that personally enrages them but Wops and Micks are as apt to address their own ranks with those terms as each other. The N word was used to reduce a race of people as less than human during slavery and generations afterward to “keep them in their place”. We don’t have that HISTORY to be able to relate.
It's also not just that word. A broadcaster was fired because he said that Serena played tennis Guerrilla style... And yet Brown can use a racial slur against Mayock and nobody cares...

Not exactly. Cracker is still used as a self-descriptor. Actually, so is Negro. Both terms are antiquated but contextually you can figure out what the person means when it's used. Neither term on it's own is a pejorative. They become that in context of the speaker and situation. They're still inadvisable to use because people can and do hear them solely as pejoratives.

The problem with context is that it is constantly changing. I'm 55 and am old enough to have seen multiple phases of what is appropriate to call certain ethnic or racial groups. UNCF and NAACP are examples. In the end, people change terms because the term becomes stigmatized, not necessarily by those they apply to, but by those who have hearts full of crap. It's sad.

At some point society is gonna have to figure out a way to keep the haters from taking all our words away. Eventually we'll be communicating in monosyllabic grunts or indecipherable acronyms. Wait...

you should watch the new DAve Chapelle special on Netflix. he does this bit about his Chapelle Show Standards and Practices department telling him he could use one word to describe an ethnic group, but he couldn't use another word to describe another group.

his take, the punchline..............is hilarious.

I would laugh if someone called me a Cracker or Honkey. Don’t even know how that’s a thing honestly.

What a great special. Completely goes at the soft pc society we live in. I love it. I laughed my ass off many times during that special. The GOAT!

Which says more about you than anything. I seriously doubt your self-esteem is rooted in what haters think about you. If you were carrying around a lifelong inferiority complex you probably wouldn't weather it as well.

same here, and I haven't laughed that hard at a stand up in a while.....
Louie CK was at that level before he got in trouble for jerking off in front of people. It’s a shame, Louis is fantastic in the same ways that Dave is on stage. Just brutally honest and hilarious. Although Dave is more political and smarter with his standup. I’d love to see him live someday.
