Lol. A guy who has bled orange for a year and a half calling out upset fans who have stuck around for 10+ years of horrendous sucking.

I don’t think many here realize how ridiculous and viscous fans are toward our players on twitter. Sooner or later they break and respond. I don’t blame them and I think it’s got a real shot to bring the team together

Absolutely awesome
Vol Nation rallies behind Florida elementary student bullied for homemade UT shirt

We hope you have discussed the consequences of bullying with the children in your class because in Tennessee 'you mess with one of us- you mess with all of us."

With the help of the Vol Shop and other departments on campus, the little Vol fan will be getting the surprise of his life.

"We've all collectively come together and we're sending him what we call a Volunteer Proud Pack," said Jimmy Delaney with UT Fan Experience.

The "care package" will have notebooks, a hat, jersey and signed football from head coach Jeremy Pruitt.

And that homemade design isn't going anywhere. The Vol Shop sent an image of the shirt to be printed, hopefully to hit shelves soon after it gets approval from licensing.
Doggone onions again.

Steve Sarkisian is going to cost Alabama a game.

He was definitely one of biggest problems in Atlanta.

Ridiculous. I wish the players would just turn it off but I know they're curious, too natural at that age.

Bitch to one another if we have to but the Tweeting at the players or tagging them, or the team, when fans are running their stupid mouths is just ignorant.

Yep, if I was a player, I would want to stay off. But I find it very ironic that adults are saying whatever they want and then telling kids they need to stay off. To be honest, it’s a double standard.

I’m not even on social media other than this site, but the adult behavior is ridiculous.

It's a total double standard. Agree. But the players can exercise control over only one part of any of these potential interactions...

Sometimes when you get angry it’s better to take a walk and cool down. I saw that on a TV show, My Three Sons, when I was in middle school. I just naturally thought that’s what everybody did. I don’t always start the walk early enough but if I don’t take the walk at all I’ll probably regret it.

So I apologize for calling Jeremy an idiot and a pussy. Those were words spoken in anger.

He has said we have a good football team this year. He’s said we’ve had really good practices. I take his word for all of that because there’s a lot of secondary data that suggest that should be the case. We should be better than last year.

My criticism is basically that he didn’t prepare his team for the game last Saturday. It didn’t even seem like a good practice plan. He hasn’t acknowledged that, I guess to my satisfaction, publicly. Maybe he’s done it privately. I looked at Saban’s response to his early loss to Louisiana Monroe and he took ownership and apologized to the fanbase.

To me when you’ve sinned, done something that you know is wrong, even if only in retrospect, and I’m just using that as an expression, repentance, I’ve always thought, involved recognizing your error, apologizing, and pledging to at least try to avoid making the same error again. I don’t think this is religious per se. It’s just a good practice when we make mistakes in any of our circumstances in life. jmo.

We should bounce back so I’m thinking maybe 8-4 realistically. I really do think that’s possible because I think we have pretty decent players, and if we can beat Florida then that’s even better. My biggest concern remains the defense. I am skeptical we can win shootouts with our offense. I do think last Saturday was an anomaly. It shouldn’t have happened and I think most people would agree, including Vegas. jmo.

Again, I apologize to Jeremy and everyone else for calling him names.

Don’t apologize for their incompetence. We haven’t had real coaching on the Hill since 2009. There’s absolutely no sign we have it now either.
