I talked with my daughter last night about her not having to have a boyfriend. She’s got a couple friends that since the school year has started ones had 3 different and the other 4 different boyfriends. Should she feels she has to have a boyfriend too. We have expectations in place for what our girls are to expect from a spouse in life. He fits very few, so I told her she needs to set guidelines because she is the prize. He’s a prick kid that has been given everything he has and expects her to placate to his whims. I’m getting pissed thinking about the douche.
Every boy or young man my daughters have ever dated have been scared to death of me after my girls told them about the infamous "boat oar and duct tape incident" 😁

All I get is "yes sir" from them...lol. my Son-in-law is finally acting a little less deferential after 5 years..

well, he still might be.

there are precedents for good coaches that have lost inexplicable games and gone on to do well, if not great.

problem is there's more that say those coaches flame out and get fired after inexplicable losses.

so, as with all things..................we'll see.
I was in Alabubba when Saban lost to Louisiana-Monroe..that was just as bad a loss, and he did not have near the disaster of a pukefest roster to clean up...Jeremy may fail, but precedent has been seen for horrible losses and great recovery.

The gumps were ready to ride him out on a rail then too.

Was just hanging out in an FBO on the west coast getting ready to leave and man there must have been 10-15 BYU folks getting ready to head to Knox. Spoke to them for a little bit and I got the sense BYU fans are coming in droves this weekend.
Lickin them Mormon chops .

Alright folks. PPR league. Pick one to start this week: Brandon cooks vs Carolina, josh Gordon vs Pitt, mark ingram vs Miami

i'm sure the way Kirby managed some in game scenarios that first year gave some UGA fans pause too. they fired a guy that jusut won 10 games and the new guy took the same team to an 8-5 record. and Kirby looked shell shocked at times that first year, and he made plenty of mistakes, especially managing the game and situational football.

but situations being what they are, by year 2, he got that year 2 bump....in large part because the lions' share of that defense stuck around and chub and michel stuck around.

there's no real comparing Kirby, Day, Orgeron, or Riely's situations to Pruitt's. and i know orgeron wasn't in that group, but you think he's really THAT much better a head coach today than he was at Ole Miss? no, but LSU is A LOT different than Ole Miss....that much i can say with confidence.

and none of that means pruitt is or isn't going to be good.

but the comparison, and expectaiton from that comparison is just lazy.................

Devils advocate on Ed O.... he’s basically just a motivated and recruiter and let’s his coordinators have full control. You can win a lot of games like that. Very similar to fulmer here from the structure standpoint

Absolutely awesome
Vol Nation rallies behind Florida elementary student bullied for homemade UT shirt

We hope you have discussed the consequences of bullying with the children in your class because in Tennessee 'you mess with one of us- you mess with all of us."

With the help of the Vol Shop and other departments on campus, the little Vol fan will be getting the surprise of his life.

"We've all collectively come together and we're sending him what we call a Volunteer Proud Pack," said Jimmy Delaney with UT Fan Experience.

The "care package" will have notebooks, a hat, jersey and signed football from head coach Jeremy Pruitt.

And that homemade design isn't going anywhere. The Vol Shop sent an image of the shirt to be printed, hopefully to hit shelves soon after it gets approval from licensing.

Yes!!!

This little boy will grow in wisdom and favor and stature and in 20 to 30 years lead us to the National Championship as head coach.
