I would use Newk as a 1-3 or 4 guy and have Fried on the backend.

Soroka, Julio, DK, Folty, Newk

To varying degrees based on matchups and IP needed but those guys can keep you in games. The ones you have the lead in, Fried slams the door.

Postseason is different. Every lead needs to be preserved. He can’t go more than 5 with the same level of success so maximize what he can do and the amount of games he can influence.

I wouldn’t trust anyone on this team in the 9th, save Fried. JT and DK have the stones but thin margin of error. The whole bullpen can go up in flames at any moment. Folty? Nah.

Fried every time you have a lead for as long as he can go. That’s postseason baseball.
