Maybe the coaches should show the players the young student trying to rep the Vols... maybe it will hit home with some of them as to what a privilege it is to wear the Power T... you have fans like that who have to watch our guys jog around, make fun of their own team, and go out on the strip after a ass whoopin...


Yep, I'm not over it yet and it's Thursday before our next game... Lawd help me.

I haven't gone back to watch, but that was my impression at the game. Sometimes you go back and find out it was a little different. It looked like he was crossing the back of the end zone and had a good lead on his man. I haven't seen it happen enough to know whether it's a chronic problem or not. QBs miss wide open receivers sometimes. There just wasn't any margin for error this game (that in itself is sad).

Still, I was surprised at how little down field passing there was. They should have been able to post those guys up like they did Auburn last year.

That’s really good though.a lot of the common problems you see in girls are “daddy issues” so it’s really awesome you have those talks with her seriously.it will pay off later on down the road when it matters the most.

For me making them understand self value and appreciate their “Independence” is another must.thats usually the first thing guys try to take away,not being able to do anything with friends,Can’t even get a damn ice cream by themselves etc.shopping at the mall without being accused of something,just things of that nature.at the end of the day she will only be able to count on herself and you guys.she doesn’t “need” anyone else.

It happened multiple times where guys were open. On the play where they blitzed the CB, he came off Callaway, and Callaway was open and needed one block for space. He never looked to that side. I never played football but know that you throw at the direction of a blitz. On the 3rd down in the redzone late in the game, he threw to Pope, but you will see that DWA (I believe) and maybe another WR were more open. Time and time again.

I am of the opinion that Chaney didn't dial up a whole lot of vertical passes to test the OL. He didn't want the OL getting beat the whole game. That game could have easily been won without vertical passes. Just need JG to make the correct read.

Personally In my opinion he’s assuming he has help over top.if JG were to sling it at Jauan,the defender you see would have to make a choice of leaving the current man he’s on or go after Jauan either way he’s being put in a mental decision which is a coin flip with better odds rather than throwing into Double coverage.👀🤷🏽‍♂️ The play wasn’t pretty but JG had options just not the dumb he chose.

well, he still might be.

there are precedents for good coaches that have lost inexplicable games and gone on to do well, if not great.

problem is there's more that say those coaches flame out and get fired after inexplicable losses.

so, as with all things..................we'll see.
