Best Vols JUCO Pickups of all Time

Seems like the Pruitt staff leans a lot on picking up Juco's (that really have not panned out) and it used to be frowned upon for the most part unless the guy was a sure fire shoe in.

Pickens was NOT a JC guy. Came out of Murphy NC. Redshirted as a freshman along with Chuck Webb in 1988. No wonder they went 5-6 that year. Not Majors best decision.

Those early 90's teams with Andy Kelly. D Carter and that crew, was sure talented and a blast to watch.

That's right. Back then everyone redshirted freshman our 1st year guys did.
