"Get the ball to our play makers in space"

This is what Fulmer used to say and we all chuckled and were like, "Obviously, that's what you want to do."

Now it seems impossible for this horrid offense to do just that. If I see one more pass go 20 yards in the air for a 4 yard gain I'm going to lose it.

But 4 yards is progress...

It’s jg. It’s been jg for 2 years now. He just won’t ever take any shots downfield. The coaches have to been telling him he needs to do that. Pruitt obviously will have told him behind closed doors we can’t win playing this way. But Pruitt is just so inexperienced and naive...I don’t even think he realizes it makes him look bad and it doesn’t have to. A great coach would publicly acknowledge that the QBs hasn’t been great and discuss what he needs to do a better job of. That lets the fans know you see it to and puts pressure on the player to do better. Maybe he feels jg psych is just so fragile he can’t do that? I don’t know.

He’s taken plenty of shots downfield even knowing he’s going to get crushed by a lineman.

Had we given the ball to our playmakers more often, the outcome of this game would've been different.

Imo, that's on coaching.

If JG is so dam- fragile, then take him out of the storm. At some point we will have to see his replacement anyway, now, due injury, or when JG graduates. So, bite the bullet, do it know. Will give some excuse for the way things are going on offense. Now defense, well this is another problem, just don't have a JG to blame their ineptness on, just lack of experience and some youth.

I've been in the camp that thought JG was part of the problem but not as much as others did. I thought with o-line improvement, running game improvement and Chaney coming in along with Wienke being moved to QB's, JG would at least suffice, but actually be good.

After Saturday its still not crystal clear.because everyone including the coaches seemed worse. So I don't know. Haha.

But its not rocket surgery, something ain't right and I'd sure like to see if somebody else can do any better.

If anyone thinks I want to stick with JG just because I'm skeert of being wrong...LOL. Im already wrong enough. Damn, put JJ in or Wienke got any eligibility left? Do something pahleze.

It was going to take 39 points to beat Georgia St. I agree that the offense was bad, but the defense and general lack of effort/intensity should be the points of emphasis.
