#enptyneyland is just dumb. I get why people are apathetic, but what is this going to accomplish?

Pruitt's back is against a wall, does he have what it takes to fight his way back. Probably not, but he is in it all season win, lose or draw.
It would be nice if Jeremy Pruitt after Tennessee loses to BYU shockingly announces his resignation on Tuesday:cool:

If the OL controls the line of scrimmage, it controls the game, thus it controls the Win, it’s not the other way around, DL doesn’t set the tone for the game, that should come from the SEC OL you are trotting out there against a SunBelt DL. Not sure why he is trying to defend Friend’s OL so much?

I’ve seen a few pointing blame at a few players, and let’s be Clear, this is ALL on the coaches. ALL of it. I’ve been one of the biggest defenders of Pruitt, but there is none to not only lose, but get the (crap) beat out of you by a 2-10 Sun Belt team that is picked last in their league again this year, this may be their only win of the year. 200+ yards given up rushing and not even getting 100 yards literally is beyond my belief. Pruitt abs company did nothing to adjust during the game, especially on D.

Worst loss in SEC history by any team favored by 25 points,

Ok, turn the page, was this overconfidence from the coaches, lack of being prepared? whatever it was, Flush it, burn the tape. This week should have the full attention of the players, can’t undo the past, use it as a springboard for the future. Show the ULM game from Saban era showing it can get better quickly if you buy in. You have to build these guys up this week, their confidence is shot. Expect positive remarks coming from Pruitt in his PC this week. Another Patsy this week in BYU who just lost by 20 points but this time, show up. Build your guys up.

Use the clippings as motivation, get a chip on your shoulder, play with an us against the world mentality. If you don’t, the season is lost, expect a TN blowout of BYU, players are going to be mad, coaches are ticked, beat it out on the Cougars.

Those calling for #EmptyNeyland need to stop, team needs butts in the stands, Saturday is the biggest game in Pruitt’s career, lose it, and he will lose the fans (those that are left) and more importantly, the team.
This should've been done months ago. Hell even the start of summer, at least fall camp. If they're still trying to motivate these guys at this point, there's no hope.
1. You're playing D1 football ON Scholarship in the best league in all of college football.
2. You're on TV dern near every Saturday. ( have some personal pride) refer to inkys motivational speech to them a few weeks ago.
3. The opportunity to get drafted and take care of your family for generations to come.

If you can't find motivation from at least one of those points nothing will. Hell I'm over 40 give me a shot to suit up and run through the T I'll give all I have on every play.
Like G states coach said " in the SEC they say it just mean more, well today for G state it just meant more"

No it isn’t. Show the fans this Saturday that this team isn’t what we saw yesterday and they will come back. Fans are flat exhausted with this nonsense. Can’t blame the last 15 years on Pruitt but we can and should blame the last game on him. UT fans know (or should at this point) more than any other fan base what the beginnings of bad coaching look like and what the writing on the wall is and yesterday absolutely was it. This was worse than Dooley losing to a KY team without a QB and CBJ with Appy State.

If you want to go to the game then absolutely go and have fun. If fans want to stay home then the are absolutely entitled to it and no part of it is dumb or stupid. It is, in fact, reasonable at this point.

A couple friends already quit being so invested, they are just casual fans, they still love college football but just see it as entertainment, sometimes they’ll even skip watching the Tn game if better ones are on. Still wear their gear but wear it more pronounced now in basketball season.

Totally understand. I will still have the Tenn game on no matter what else is on, but I no longer sit down for the full game, it’s on in the background.

Haven’t worn UT gear out in public or to work for years. I still have an orange T on my car but seriously considering taking that off today.
