I with Ron. I can't imagine he survives and the reason is I can't imagine he'll ever change. He's a pretender. He has no frickin' clue and he ain't going to listen to nobody, not really, not for very long. He's beyond pathetic. He's a damn gump.

We could bounce back. I don't think we will but we could. He lost to frickin' Georgia State. They say winning cures everything. I for one need a lot of that medicine right now and I don't know if even that will help. We've got to try something because right now it feels like we're never going to get any better. jmo.

If he doesn't turn this around and fast I'm figuring when publications come out with their rankings for coaches next year his name is going to be in free fall.

In your opinion, what is the ceiling on this team now?

How does recruiting fluctuate based on said ceiling?

I feel like the bar was lowered so much yesterday that 5-7 would be almost miraculous, but it's still a bad record.

Only thing that remains to be seen is how good GSU is and how bad the SEC East is.

I think he only way Pruitt recovers from yesterday is to get to a bowl game. Yes if he doesn’t get to 6 I’m ready for throwing another dart at the coaching board or letting phil take it over for a few years

We shouldn’t make a change. The freshmen were some of the best players on the field yesterday.

I’m for giving him 4 years minimum. We are still in overreaction mode today. Still think we have a real shot at 6 wins and a bowl imo

About the only thing a win over them will do is give me a slight reason to believe that while still a complete and utter failure yesterday was, it could have been a perfect storm that start with a boat fire.

At least that's what I will hope which lately has been wrong.

Which is meaningless unless we are getting good recruits. I’m not sure if a bowl simply on the back of an easier schedule should merit more time.

We aren’t in a position to change coaches. No chance that happens. Our best M.O. is just to let him learn on the job. I do think by the end of it, he will have either said to heck with it and head back to a P5 DC job or he’s just an abject failure and we let him coach out his contract. We’re buyout U for goodness sakes.

Not sure if you’ve read my post correctly. I don’t think calling for JG to ride the line makes somebody a mouth breather. I think a lot of mouth breathers have been scapegoating him for a long time and our problems won’t be fixed by any of the QBs on our roster.

Not sure what you’re talking about with me “constantly talking about people’s intelligence” either. Saying an opinion is dumb is very different from calling a person dumb. Smart people have dumb opinions all the time. Aristotle was one of the top mints of his era and was wrong about almost everything lol he thought geese turned into freaking barnacles in the winter.

We’re all just talking football here. If you can’t handle someone saying your idea about football is dumb, that’s on you.

It amazes me that Florida can change coaches as much as we do it seems and be back again in SEC title game or national prominence. I’m all for giving him time if time is what was needed but yesterday really concerns me about any long term coaching ability whether we win 3 or 6 this year.

If he makes a bowl he’s fine. If he only wins 2-3 games it might be impossible to keep him. Apathy is already at all time high. I don’t know what numbers were put out by UT but there weren’t 80k in the stands yesterday for a home opener

I think it will have to be an exceptionally bad season (boy is it off to a start towards that) for a change to be made. I think 5-7 will be about where we end up, and that’s not going to result in a change. It should result in a ripping hot seat for next year though.

I’m sure you’re right though. Mid week we’ll be getting they “they gon learn,” aight, and cornbread BS. “We finally got a good coach” will come after we squeak by BYU.

Hypothetically... If we lose to BYU would y'all be ok with Pruitt being let go? Or would y'all still wanna see if he could bounce back?

Swag ain’t gonna make our big men suck any less. Last I checked none of our QBs can run like Dobbs and make up for piss poor line play.

Unless we can get Bob Stoops, we have to let Pruitt learn this whole HC thing unfortunately. I don’t see us laying an egg Saturday. I don’t think we win comfortably or anything but I think we see some winning effort.

Maybe I’m naive but the players HAVE to understand they’re role in that debacle.

Both the coaches and players acted like they were having a practice. They didn't seem to comprehend that they were playing a game and losing.
