You don’t. It could’ve been practically done but there was no signatures. If Currie interviews him anytime after Schiano before Doeren and we’re seeing what he’d actually do here.

Maybe not the MOU but I thought the story was that’s how Davenport found out where Currie was. Maybe he sent in other paperwork?

He was radio silent before he finally texted her. Remember he borrowed someone’s private plane to go meet Leach. From what I remember he notified her that Leach was receptive and that’s when she practically uh huh’d him and called him to the principal’s office in the morning. Earlier on before he went rogue, the MOU paperwork would’ve been sent to him.

I can’t remember a player who’s had multiple run-ins like this with law enforcement who hasn’t turned out to be a s*** head. Let that kid back into the university and all he’ll learn is that his ability as a football player makes it ok for him to continue this kind of behavior.

I know this is unpopular now, but 3-5 years from now everybody on VN will be acting like we all knew he was a bad apple all along or will just pretend like he was never here like we do with Jansen Jackson.

Gotcha. I know he met with Leach at some hole in the wall restaurant in Los Angeles with no lawyers or agents and that’s when they came to the agreement. That was what, Thursday night? Then they fired him Friday morning or something like that.

And if the defense does what SEC defenses are supposed to do to crappy FCS opponents, the offense gets more possessions. That argument cuts both ways.

Yea Butili being out there makes a huge difference


For the record I wasn’t saying Henry was anywhere close to our biggest worry. He was ok yesterday I just thought he could have played harder.

I think some of that (with everyone, not just Henry) is not knowing what you’re doing. It was clear we didn’t. You play in slow motion when you’re unfamiliar with what you’re doing. That was a massive part of the lack of effort yesterday as well. I’m not excusing it. The coaches should have had our boys ready. They didn’t. So they played in quick sand all damn day. They couldn’t react because they were trying to think.
