just so happens to be the Freshman LB in his first ever game.... yet he sucks.... you know who sucked at LB ? Ignot and Johnson.
I keep thinking about how much effort it takes to suck all the passion out of a once proud fan base.
Ffs, can’t even defend this anymore.
I agree they Certainly suck
11 didn’t pursue the ball carrier with any kind of urgency on the edge imo. I really thought he didn’t play hard at times. Now he very well may have played better than the rest but that isn’t saying much
I’m still all VOL but if JG is the starter against BYU I’m going to be extremely disappointed.
What I do not want to see on the field next week:
- #13 Deandre Johnson - Completely Lost
- #2 Jarret Guarantano - Quitter / Not a Playmaker
- #50 Savion Williams - Man Handled / No Push
- #97 Darel Middleton - Lost / Slow / No Push
- #9 Tim Jordan - Has no vision
What I do want to see on the field next week:
- #51 Elijah Simmons in at NG
- Either of the Freshman QBs
- #3 Bryce Thompson (Very Unlikely)
- #33 Jeremy Banks instead of Tim Jordan at RB
- Less rotating at all positions unless it is just a completely different defensive package
- Less rotating on the Offensive Line
I just want them to pick starters and be done with it. The rotational crap isn’t going to work.I’m still all VOL but if JG is the starter against BYU I’m going to be extremely disappointed.

He played his position the way he was supposed to. They always ran opposite side of him when they gained big yards. He was having to pursue across field to make tackles. They knew where the LB weakness was and it was away from #11s side.
