I wish I could say the same! I’m more deflated today than I was last night. All the digs my friends keep giving me aren’t helping. Nothing like kicking a dude while he’s down!
And to top it all off, my youngest decides to take on a barb wire fence head on with his 4 wheeler this morning!!
He’s fine, just pretty scratched up.

I thought the multiple times on third down he threw a passes that were not past the first down marker or on 4th down he threw it out of bounds. If it ain't there tuck and try to run for it.

I’m honestly most pissed at the players. Have some freaking pride in wearing that jersey! Pathetic effort from this team across the board. At some point you need to line up and beat the damn guy right in front of you. Let’s don’t make this more complicated than it is. We have a team full of soft, uninspired, pride less, and selfish players. F them all after that effort.

Come on @BruinVol you know how this works.Imagine being a player on defense and seeing your QB go 3 straight downs each possession then comes to the sideline like nothing is going on?..as the leader if he doesn’t give a damn why should I?..defense and offense go hand and hand.A really good deep defense can keep you from scoring for about 3 to 5 possessions and that’s saying if the offense goes 3 downs and out each time.after that your defense begins to just wear down.i believe we are good enough on defense that if we ever find a good inspired QB,you’ll see a huge difference in the players.i just think it starts from the top.

I honestly think he didn’t expect his Defensive Line to suck that bad. I don’t see how Simmons doesn’t get the start at Nose after yesterday. None of the other NGs could get past their man.

I mean how many times did they run up the middle. They stayed out on the perimeter mostly all game. Not sure how much Simmons would have helped in that.

No. Pruitt handpicked his staff and UT devoted whatever $$$ it took to bring in the guys he wanted. When he made a misjudgment-- i.e., Helton-- or wanted guys gone-- i.e., Fair-- UT made that happen. Tee and Chaney are the hires where Fulmer had more input, but still Pruitt has had the freedom and resources to rebuild the program his way.

yep. pruitt failing won't have anything to do with not having the resources to be successful.

1.)Debatable.plus how you can use inexperience as a excuse when other freshmen around College football are doing good? Even for their first game. Not our players but still?..some players just have it when the lights come on and if you never play them you’ll never know.

2.)Similar film different stats.all favoring Brian

3.)relevant because JG isn’t Pruitts player and Brian is..I’m just saying in college we thought peterman sucked but turned out to be decent in college under a new staff.history shows Qb’s are better when they leave here and just about all of them have left under a coaching change.

4.)they changed the entire playbook on him after he got in rhythm.was in the red zone twice and they gave him 3 straight pass plays in the red zone on one of those drives and that will never happen with the running backs we have.not even just that he was mobile and aware.he just looks different than JG as a freshman.

5.)Dobbs was 3rd Further more JT is 2 because of experience that’s it.he still turns it over in practice more so than what Brian does.

1. Much more highly rated and touted QBs that our staff pursued before settling on the best they could get in Maurer.

2. If you wanna talk HS QB stats, then Worley should’ve been our GOAT.

3. That sounds more like an argument for JG leaving and maybe putting a solid SR season together in a different situation than a reason that Maurer should/would have success if thrown to the wolves next week. Peterman basically got drafted off of one good season...as a RS SR.

4. That doesn’t erase him staring down WRs and getting baited by our awful defenses’ backups.

5. That’s a good point. Idk how much faith I have in our staff’s abilities to judge and rank QBs after the whole Martinez/Shrout debacle.

Something else, Fulmer isn't going to fire Pruitt. He's balls deep in this. If Pruitt fails and Fulmer fires him, they're both gone and he knows that.

If he does fire him this season, I wouldn't be shocked if Phil took over.

I’ll take seeing him on live television in that environment we all wish we could be in to try and help make a difference completely out of the equation because apparently Not being able to throw past the 10 yard marker or beat Ga st isn’t bad enough from a leader standpoint.So I’ll just say some players in that locker room.do not like him. I’m torn between thinking Pruitt and co are totally inept and need to go immediately, and maybe just admitting that we are in a Kentucky level rebuild and he needs all 6 years of that contract.

How many more times can we fire a coach after 3-4 years? If we think a coach has potential, which I still think Pruitt does, maybe we just stick it out? Jesse Palmer was pretty blunt last night on CFB Final, straight saying “where is the talent for UT? Where are the players? Peyton Manning, Al Wilson, Jamal Lewis, John Henderson, the guys I played against?” Didn’t hold back.

Butch left a bunch of 240-260 O/DL for Pruitt to work with. These guys are getting pushed around by Georgia State. Maybe this situation is so much worse than we want to believe. Coaching was a serious problem in that game, but our guys were getting beat at every level. Warrior whiffing on the game sealing TD run summarizes it soundly.

I also have some of this sentiment. Continuing to fire guys ain't working. We are already at rock bottom, maybe just give him a half dozen years like Mark Stoops and see what happens. As a fan, put it in a box and check on it every now and then for progress. Idk
