It is mine but I am not going to use it. Just stop acting like a bitter woman.

Not my problem that you spent that much money on a game but it’s a nice problem to have.

With that kind of money and talking about it are you sure you aren’t a Vandy fan?
You sound like the bitter woman. Bitching about other people and hiding your jealousy about people that are more successful than you

Trying to pull a positive out of last night...

I did not follow through on my original plan to buy tickets for the game and went in the direction of the beach with friends instead. Who, were able to hug and console me and pour me lots of alcohol.
And my Fall schedule got a little more open for trips and house projects.

Man, I got so many fun, Ron Swanson-grade woodworking projects to work on. When the weather breaks, you can find me in my garage with some whiskey on the rocks and a classic rock playlist.

Time to quit blaming Butch. Even Butch's players should beat that team yesterday. This is all on the coaching staff not developing the players, or totally overlooking a team in order to prepare for the next opponent.
Hard not to blame the HC for this. All I've heard is how good the strength and conditioning program is and how most or all of our oline is 300+. It's incomprehensible as to why we can't get good blocking on the oline. If I had confidence in the athletic department that they could/would bring a good coach, I'd say clean house now. I just don't. We'll have to ride this out and see if he can learn to be a good head coach. If it doesn't work out we'll have to endure another coaching search and of course more grumors.

JG reminds me of a dog that was beat as a puppy and no matter how good life is always flinches when you go to pet it. He’s showed clear improvement moving protections around, running more decisively, etc. BUT he’s just broken..holding the ball to make something happen, taking big sacks, throwing without touch because he’s trying to force things. Gotta play loose and he plays stressed. This season (to me) just became 100% about preserving the Bailey commitment.

I could go on for days about this but I’ll keep it simple. Here are his stats from high school till his sophomore year of college..The percentage numbers some of these people put up on here and drool over are nothing because they don’t follow with a “W” JG has always been a stat QB,he’s about him and just trying to improve his draft stock that’s it and it won’t happen. He still has the it’s about “Me” butch jones loser mentality.Hes a straight selfish loser with no fight or fire in him.he goes out there for 3 downs because he has too and comes back to sit down on the side lines with ZERO energy even after his f*** ups.

The two areas he’s improved are in my opinion staying in the pocket while the pocket is collapsing and for the first time in 3 years yesterday dude ran the ball just too keep the defense honest, which he needs to do more often but won’t.other than that he’s straight A$$ and still doesn’t read a defense.you can check out, check in and switch whatever you want but if it’s a bad Protection switch then you get exposed and he Generated nothing for the offense yesterday.Nothing.but you are right he is a abused dog.

I don't understand why Banks was turned into a LB. Ball security issues can be fixed and I liked the fire he brought to the RB position. We have zero big bodied backs that move the pile.

Tim Jordan is our short yardage RB and that's just pathetic.

Apparently, we still have a lack of effort and a divided locker room. When the HC and players say post-game that not all players played hard, there's a big problem with some players. Some guys gave up. Some guys don't seem to care enough. Some guys seem too used to losing. Some guys can't even line up right and don't seem to understand the simplest schemes. These are Year 1 problems in Year 2.

The fix starts above the HC. Fulmer's going to have to be more involved and some of the assistant coaches are going to have to step up. Because the HC is struggling and it's going to take others giving more to make up for it.

So just for clarity...

Tennessee runs the table, wins the east, beats Bama twice, and then beats Clemson for the National Championship and you’ll be mad about losing to Georgia State still?

Noted.
That isn't even possible if this team plays it's best game. If you're going with hypotheticals try one that's possible. Yesterday was a disgrace. You say it's forgivable? Fine, that's you. I say Pruitt made us a laughing stock and he isn't the first one to do it recently. Frankly, I'm tired of it.

As much as I want to just give up on the Vols and say I dont care that's simply not true. This was the most humiliating loss I can remember. I remember when losing to Vanderbilt felt like this. Now we are used to losing to them. It takes losing to Ga St to feel this way now? I dont understand how a team with decent talent and a great coaching staff (on paper anyway) can even have a chance to lose a game like this. Like many of you I follow recruiting year round and cant wait to see how they will help us (next year) and then "next year" that we will turn the corner only to find out next year didn't come this year either. I will always root for and support my vols but seeing that lifeless sideline while getting it handed to us by Georgia St is something that will stick with me a long time. Kinda makes it hard to justify being more emotionally invested than the players and coaches seem to be.

Also of note: Pruitt will get a great DC job about 15 minutes after we fire him and that will offset the buyout. Not like Butch who is kicking it interning until the gravy train stops.

Edit: oops replied to the wrong comment.

Very telling that GSU’s (winning game plan) started in the trenches. If Shawn F***ing Elliot is prepping to play us and licking his chops at how weak we are in the trenches, it’s gonna be a long ass season.

Same. I told myself after the loss that I was done and wouldn't keep up with recruiting anymore, but that's simply not true. After last night we may not get close to a top 10 recruiting class, but I will always be Vol.

I don’t say this to dispute that a QB change needs to be made, but JG is night and day better than Shrout and Maurer in every aspect of the game. There is such a disparity that the coaches have never even considered an alternative.

Like I said, I understand wanting to make a change and I would probably try it too. But it’s not going to work either.
Can’t wait to trot out Shrout or Maurer in the swamp and have flashbacks to Peterman ‘13.

I’m still pissed off that no one on our staff made Adrian Martinez priority #1 when they took over for Butch. He’d be good enough to at least will us to wins against crap opponents like GSU.
