I was excited when he committed here. But like I said the past two years, I've been fortunate enough to go to a few practices every year. The year he was battling Dormady for the starter role I was watching them do basic drills. I was about 6 feet from them. And JG made a comment basically saying he wasn't going to do the drill the way coach Canales described because he was afraid he'd break an ankle. It was a basic drill guys/gals. I feared he was a pre-madonna and to this day I still feel that way. I want him to be a leader. I want him to be successful. But the truth is I don't think he has it in his heart. I wish him the best but I think it's waaaaay more than just a weak offensive line. Sorry but I think it's time to move on. I know for s fact that Jennings can't stand him. And it makes me wonder if that lack of chemistry and lack of confidence in him by the other players is what the bigger issue is. JMO.I’ve been a JG apologist and somewhat still, maybe it’s time to give a look to another QB. Maybe it will work or give JG a spark of competition.
DT basically said they weren't prepared. Didnt know what ga st was going to do and didnt watch enough film. I think we didnt take them seriously and paid.
Last 2 sentences makes all the sense. It’s noticeable.I was excited when he committed here. But like I said the past two years, I've been fortunate enough to go to a few practices every year. Hoping it’s a GOOD real serious situation. You’re a good one, man.Taking my leave from football. My life just got REAL serious at a surprising time, given today’s outcome. @butchna, I’ll message you on here before the SC game, my cousin already bought me a ticket so I can’t say no. Maybe we can meet up. @nicksjuzunk praying for you, the family, and everyone you impact, to continue being a light in dark places brother.![]()
I never thought I would see a loss as bad as the North Texas loss back in the 70s again...welp that's another milestone in our inexorable march to the abyss of college football.reached today...The Vol Navy caught on fire and a boat sunk pre-game, a band member fainted on the field at halftime and was marched over, and Georgia State hands us the worst loss in program history.
UT is in a special circle of Hell.

It was bad. Real bad. Bad to the point it's made me really scared for recruiting. Seeing what was put on the field today, why would any kid with talent want to come here? That's how bad it was. And I know many will blame line play, which played a part, but it went much deeper than that. Can JG not make reads? I've defended him many times, but his reads were horrible, and his throws not much better. No touch on the ball at all. And absolutely no heart whatsoever. All of that, and I've not even mentioned game management yet. What the hell were Pruitt and Chaney thinking? I'm just at a total loss for what happened. I was already having a bad week, and started the day thinking I'd have at least one bright spot. Nope. This really sucks.
I hope that somehow, some way we can get our **** together, otherwise, this is gonna be another miserable season, and at this pace, lead to another miserable coaching search. This one hurt bigly.
@JacketVol What's going on? I know you know more than the average fan.
Fair enough. No it’s private message don’t want to come full out with it. Basically coaches came in and instantly realized it wasn’t gonna work. Have been coasting and waiting to dip when they can.
