If my memory serves me, 247 guys were around 7-5. Maybe an 8-4 in there somewhere. Wasn't on Rivals back then.

Just googled it and did find our friend Caleb Calhoun had us at 9-3 for 2017. #EarToTheGround

Would be a smart move. I know they get 4 games to keep the redshirt, but you have to balance that against wasting one of those if a game is lost by injury with either JG or Shrout in the later games. Would be nice if an emergency occurs for Maurer to be able to help with squandering eligibility unnecessarily.
