The playoff talk for Utah was ridiculous. They would lose to a team like Clemson by 40 and not have 100 total yards.

Butch shouldn't have passed on Moss.

If you scroll down, he has a point to be made. Versus G5 teams last year we scored 24 vs utep and 14 vs Charlotte. Don't think he's saying it's a test where "fail" is losing, only that scoring 14-24 would show a lack of progress. Though a 1 game test is sort of silly, when you're paying someone $1.5m, immediate results are usually expected.

In short, a poor headline for sure, but not an unreasonable point.
