How many yards do y'all think Tennessee's leading rusher will have against Georgia State? I think Ty Chandler will have a big game against Georgia State and run for 201 yards.

I think Chandler goes for 120.
I would like to see JG make some runs to get his confidence up. as a DT. He always ended up with minus rushing last year. Fear of injury will keep this from happening though.

I doubt you will see Chaney run JG any tomorrow or the first 3 weeks, too much chance for a freak injury....

Probably a lot of running back by committee tomorrow to get guys touches and not to get guys banged up. I don’t want any back getting more than 10-13 carries tomorrow. Somebody will hopefully break a long one and get close to 100 or surpass it. I’ll go 100-150. Would really like to see a balance of 220 rushing and 220 passing.

First game of the season, I'm thinking the staff is going to be giving reps to a few backs. Accordingly, no one back will put up monster numbers. Still, the notion of certain backs' #s being inflated by break-out long runs, shedding tacklers, getting up to full speed, stiff-arming the safety onto the ground and stepping free into the end zone does increase my pulse rate.

I think we will have a rather angry OL out to prove something. The result will be wide open holes that allow 30+ runs by our RBs again and again. JG might end up with few passing yards because the RBs getting as much or more yards and first downs as a pass. He will throw a few as a sort of timing practice with WRs. But the bulk of most passing yards will be by the backup QBs.
