I'm glad your son got out of that situation. I was just thinking this kid is attracted to girls that he seems to have toxic relationships with. A lot of people are. Hopefully, he does learn from this. Football is a violent sport. I realize not everyone who plays has anger issues but I do believe it can definitely be a factor with some who play. I have told my daughter to try not to say things you can't take back because once you open that door you can't really close it. Speaking of toxic relationships, my ex (of 17 years) got mad at me in May and told me at least 10 times times he wanted to beat my face in, beat my skull, knock my teeth out. I'm glad I got out of that toxic relationship so long ago. I hope BT makes it through this crapstorm and finds girls he can have a healthy relationship with. Everyone deserves that.Starting reading trying to catch up, but I'm going to have to get this off my chest so I do not unfairly take it out on one. Find it appalling at the people jumping to conclusions and deciding punishment when they know nothing about the situations (especially reporters). My son had a crazy girlfriend in high school that accused him of hitting her. We had to go to court. No evidence, but the judge ordered him to stay away from her. Her mom told all the teachers to watch him and let her know if he came near her. He had to run through the halls to get away from her because she just wanted to talk to him. We had to go back to court, but this time we had the texts from the crazy mother threatening him. Restraining order against all 3. Years later she apologized and said she just wanted her dad's attention. He had dumped the first family and started a new one with a new daughter. If he had been playing sports at the time it would have been even worse on him....and he had never even hit a male let alone a female. Don't be so quick to think you KNOW what is going on. Sad that the courts and university could not handle the situation. Apparently there isn't anything legal here to charge him with. The university should handle the part about threats to the school for alleged "shooting up the school" comment. Fulmer and Pruitt should determine what help he needs for anger issues and his football career. Unfortunately the press is going to be the press. (But, hey, she didn't stab him so...)
Yeah I don't really know who deer park is. He may be legit. I remember his name getting thrown out on stuff pretty infrequently. He could be right on this too. We'll find out. Until we find out more there's not a lot of point in speculating. At this point what Bryce did doesn't sound like it deserves much more than a couple game suspension imo. If more comes out I'm sure the coaches will do what is best for the school, team and Bryce. If he's kicked out. Cool. On to the next one.?
I've never called him an insider, people here are just flipping which side he was on. Probably because they disagreed then and want to disagree now.
You know, that may be his "normal"...if he's seen toxic relationships all of his life, toxic relationships are normal until he learns otherwise.I'm glad your son got out of that situation. I didn't know him either. Just that I was scolded for not taking his word until he said something unpopular, then people didn't like him. No clue if he's connected.Yeah I don't really know who deer park is. He may be legit. I remember his name getting thrown out on stuff pretty infrequently. He could be right on this too. No idea what will happen to BT, not gonna guess. But I know there's a *possibility for an outcome we don't want and vice versa.
Would never suggest listening to someone that idk but we should all realize it's a possibility, regardless of DeerPark.
