So how does the law work in a case where a women makes the statements she made to the police while wanting a restraining order

“he has a history of violence against me and others. He has physically slapped me, choked me, and thrown me around. I fear for my safety, and am constantly looking over my shoulder.”

Does she have to press charges for police to go further?

It goes to court and she has to provide evidence. Police records of the incidents occurring, texts & phone records along with any visits to the hospital because of it.

And if she doesn’t want to do that ?

That’s what I want to know: what if she just says if he agreed to this restraining order all is good ?

I do think most of us do acknowledge that and I do believe that he most certainly needs help. Seeing how he didn’t violate that order shows he has control, maybe as not so much when he’s aruguing though. He indeed did walk away from the situation but that doesn’t condone him for some of his actions.
Don’t think anybody’s condoning just open minded over the justification of condemnation.

Then there’s no Proof or lack of evidence that it ever happened. There’s never any good to it. He nor she should have been in the situation. Mostly he.

Time to wish Bryce Thompson the best and put him out of mind. Saturday, Eric Gray begins his Heisman Trophy campaign. :D

Rightfully so, he was in the wrong however, there was no altercation. There’s a million ways to spin this. Does all of it fathom the ramifications that some are applying? Absolutely not. Seems like most of the media forget what happened last year with a offensive lineman that was kicked out over a situation not similar to this.

That ship’s sailed...hence the mutual restraining order...which apparently hasn’t been violated. Stay on point.

It is not the News Sentinels responsibility to protect the university.
It is the Knoxville News Sentinel's responsibility to report fair and accurate information not click bait on Twitter. It's been known for decades that KNS reports 75% (at least) negative articles about TN football.

I think most of us would agree in just about every Situation a kid deserves a second change to make things right. I think Nearly all of us agree with the Saban clip circulating the last few days.

The issue that this new news brings is has he already been given a second chance? From My seat it appears to be when we took him that was his second chance. That’s why I just don’t think we can ignore the past

Congrats Aubrey, you deserve it. Sad to see KNS go with a hit article rather than a glorious one about you my dood.

Let's hope the NCAA's generosity lasts just a bit longer and they let Plavsic suit up for the hoopsters next season. I honestly think he might be a bigger get for the program than solomon.
