“I don’t really think that is fair to the offensive line. That may be how Marcus feels, but there was very little depth at that position. That goes back to controlling the roster. There were guys that were asked to play when they weren’t physically ready to play. It is hard to have success if you’re not ready. I have seen a bunch of guys that were redshirted as freshmen, didn’t play as redshirt freshmen and didn’t play as redshirt sophomores and they are still playing in the NFL. It took them four years to get ready to play. It doesn’t mean they are not a good football player or not a good prospect. But they’re not ready to play at a high level in this league. There are probably some guys like that on our team. They were asked to do some things they weren’t physically able to yet.”
