Good for us, but this is a pretty bad look for the NCAA after UNC received just a slap on the wrist for the same thing.
UNC's was different though, right?

UNC created fake classes that basically passed anybody who entered and put all their athletes in them. However, the general student body could also enroll in these classes. My understanding is that the NCAA ruled that these classes didn’t count as impermissible benefits or “cheating” since the classes were available to all students (as opposed to only the athletes).

This seems more like a straight up case of a “tutor” doing the work for athletes. More like Mizzou’s recent situation than UNC’s.

All of it is a bad look and a bit of an inconsistent mess for the NCAA, though. Mizzou was a rogue tutor as well and they received a bowl ban, which Mizzou did not.

Dobbs was not drafted in the third round for his arm, the rest I agree with.
I guess it depends on what you mean by that. I don’t think he was drafted because he was a great or a natural passer. I do think he has a strong enough arm to make NFL throws, he showed that by connecting on a lot more of those throws as a Sr, and the Steelers saw enough potential there to think that maybe they could develop him into a starting QB or a backup with good trade value. Jury’s still out there, but not looking great.

Cam was always good at blowing up those screen passes. He almost killed that OK receiver in Norman.

Psshhh. That’s nothing. I’m going to try cardio with the squat bar loaded on my back today while on the treadmill. Full squat every 15 seconds and hope you don’t drop off the backend
Ever gargle gasoline? You could...you could totally do it bruh! 😎

Screw it, I've come this far, I'll do the receivers too. Only those with over 200 yards. I added any tight ends or running backs that went over 200 receiving yards to the bottom of each year and any receivers with notable rushing yards are put in there too.

Sorry for all these long posts guys, just got curious about how Chaney tends to spread the ball around and went down a rabbit hole.
1 year with 3 players over 200 rec yards
3 years with 4 players over 200 rec yards
4 years with 5 players over 200 rec yards
2 years with 6 players over 200 rec yards

One thing I didn't expect to notice was how much he uses receivers in the run game. Byrd and a couple other guys come to mind here for this season. Would be really cool to see him make an impact.
i didn't read any of this, but i admire the passion and effort, so you get a like.

lol.

UNC's actions amount to defrauding the Federal Government. People should be in jail for what they did.

They have the perfect argument against the NCAA giving them the death penalty for lack of institutional control, though: their University was aware of and in control of everything the whole time!
